Abstract

The research acquires its importance through dealing with the important topic of (mental capacity), which relates to a wide and important segment of the community members, namely the students of the preparatory stage The current research aims to identify:1_ level of mental capacity of preparatory stage students2_ level of mental capacity according to gender (male, female)3_ level of mental capacity according to specialization (scientific.4_ level of mental capacity according to stage (fourth, fifth, sixth)For the purpose of research, the researcher built the mental capacity test based on the theory of information processing consisting of (32) paragraphs in its final form. The statistical method was used to extract the honesty and consistency and the data were analyzed statistically using the statistical bag of social sciences.1_ Students enjoy a good mental capacity.2_ There are no statistically significant differences between males and females in mental capacity.3_ There are no statistically significant differences between the scientific and literary branch in mental capacity.The researcher concluded his research with a number of recommendations and proposals
