aesthetic foundations in the artistic productions of Cy Twombly

Abstract

In this labeled research, we deal with (the aesthetic foundations of Cy Twombly's artistic works), The problem is identified in answering the question: (What are the aesthetic foundations of the artistic works of American artist Cy Twombly?) ,and according to the limits of the research presented in the search for the aesthetic foundations in the works of the American artist (Cy Twombly), produced mostly in America and Italy and in different materials from (1950-2008). The second chapter reviewed the theoretical framework and previous studies, while the third chapter, reviewed the research procedures and identified the research community, its sample and procedures, and analysis of the research sample, which numbered (5) works of art, the fourth chapter, reviewed the results, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions. The most important results were: 1. The artistic features in the works of (Cy Twombly) were related to the manifestations of transformed Western thought ,accelerated, renewed, illogical, Absurd experimental, non- art, and superficial.2. Cy Twombly confirms his plastic discourse on the employment of what is vulgar, conceptual, and unusual Graphic and rolling in art.3. Twombly, in his extreme artistic discourse, reinforced the reciprocal production pattern of American arts and its non- rationality and extremism.4. Twombly's dependence in approach of his automatic, vital and artistic discourse on the employment of what leaves school student and children on the school papers and the lesson blackboard and play by color. 5. The growth of the work transformed through the Formal multiple of Twombly to the cultural multiple and hybridity of American art, and this shows in artistic approximation by such artists as Rauschenberg, Jones, and Michel Basquiat.6. Twombly's artistic discourse relied on nihilism through the supported plastic media, basically in the abstract expressionism arts of, which greatly influenced his rebellious artistic transformation.The search concludes with a list of sources and supplements.
