Abstract:The current study seeking to highlight the extent of the application of the preparatory year at the University of Dammam standard The National Commission for Evaluation and Accreditation (NCAAA) (learning and teaching), and to identify the difficulties that prevent the achievement of learning and teaching process quality out from the standpoint of employees, along with detection rate of satisfaction graduates of the preparatory year for learning and teaching. the study used a descriptive approach depending on the educational survey method to survey a sample of its employees, of the preparatory year and sample of graduates about the reality of learning and teaching the process of their opinion, and to monitor the obstacles that prevent achievement of learning and teaching quality, the study was applied questionnaires, a sample of faculty members, vice dean, The department heads and coordinators out of (82) members, and a sample of the graduates of the preparatory year amounted to (267) graduate. The study reached several conclusions, including: that the fourth criterion national Commission for evaluation and accreditation, private learning and education applied substantially Preparatory year Dammam University, from the viewpoint of its employees, 59% of the sample felt that there are no difficulties that prevent the achievement of learning and teaching the preparatory year at the University of Dammam quality, while saw the proportion (41%) there are difficulties, added to by the presence of a large proportion of satisfaction among research sample of the graduates of the preparatory year amounted to (61 %) for the study and take advantage of them, while the proportion (39%) of the total sample does not feel good
