Complexity of Al-Badea and Quran InimitabilityAl-Baqilany's View – as Instance

Abstract

The study aims at investigating the relationship between Badea with the issue of inimitability which Al- Baqilany adopts in his book ( Quran Inimitability ). It is realized that research in rhetoric inimitability became a self – contained trend which is always introduced by making a mention for the inimitable aspects that are dealt with by the linguists of the fourth century like : Al-Rummany ( 386 H ) , Khataby ( 388 H ) , and Al-Baqilany(403 H ). This trend is to be ended by Abdul-Qahir Al-Jarjany ( 471 H ) , in the fifth century ,a study which has introductions and conclusions . Al-Badea, in the period of Al-Baqilani ( 403 H ) did not mean the third branch of rhetoric which was divided by Qizweeny ( 739 H ) later in his book ( Eadhah ) , but is meant the aspects of rhetoric which is aimed at in this study. Hence , Al-Badea includes metaphor and simile in addition to other arts. While inimitability , for Al-Baqilany , is the merit of the creator . It is the miracle , according to the traditions , an extraordinary case accompanied by the challenge without human objection for Quran. It is for all periods ; timeless and placeless .Al-Baqilany pointed out the Quranic inimitability in the sura, whether big or small , thru miraculous composition and unique style .
