Efficiency Of History Department Teaching In Addressing The Challenges Of Globalization

Abstract

The current research aims to achieve the following objectives:1-Preparing a tool to measure the efficiency of the teaching staff of the Department of History in the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences in addressing the challenges of globalization.2-Identify the level of efficiency of teaching staff of the Department of History in the Faculty of Education for Humanities at the University of Karbala in addressing the challenges of globalization from the perspective of students.3-Identify the order of study areas according to the responses of the sample members.4-Identify the efficiency of professors of the Department of History in addressing the challenges of globalization according to gender variable (male - female)The current research community of all students of the Department of History in the Faculty of Education, University of Karbala for the academic year 2018-2019, the number of (401) students from the Department of History in the Faculty of Education for Humanities University of Karbala for the morning study only, the researcher has chosen a sample intentional (67) students Students representing the fourth stage in the history section to be the main research sample Since the present study aims to identify the efficiency of teaching history department at the Faculty of Humanities University of Karbala in addressing the challenges of globalization, has prepared a questionnaire consisting of (6) dimensions of the phenomenon of globalization and in the light has been drafted a set of paragraphs amounted to (56) has become its final form and after verifying its sincerity Stability was applied to the research sample. It is the result of reflecting the importance of the study of history in addressing the challenges of Awla, the researcher is the reason for this result that the teachers of the Department of History seek to protect students from slipping in the negatives of globalization, the study of history can fortify students with the knowledge, values and skills necessary to meet the challenges of globalization provided that there is a teaching Effective university teaching, as the researcher believes, requires that the teaching staff possess the competence and skill necessary to immunize the minds of students from any external threat, especially the threat of globalization in all its forms.
