Some aspects of muscle strength and its relation to the accuracy of scoring through jumping in remote areas in basketball

Abstract

The research aims to identify some aspects of muscle strength and its relationship with the accuracy of scoring through jumping in remote areas in basketball among the players of the team of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science in basketball. The researcher hypothesized a statistical relationship between the muscle strengths and accuracy of scoring through jumping in remote areas in basketball. The researcher used the descriptive approach due to its suitability with the nature of the research as well as to the means, tools and devices used in the research. The questionnaire form was used in order to get the opinions of experts and specialists in the field of sports training and basketball. It also contained the physical tests as well as tests of scoring through jumping in remote areas . In addition, the pilot experiment was conducted in order to avoid errors and to benefit from research. The main experiment of the tests was carried out with the help of the assistant team. The data was processed statistically using SPSS . The results were then presented, analyzed and discussed. In addition, tables and data were provided to help explaining and indicating the physical tests of muscle strengths and their relationship with the accuracy of scoring through jumping in remote areas in basketball.
