Computational Analysis of Punching Shear Models of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete Slabs

Abstract

A computational analysis is presented to predict the ultimate and crackingshear strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete slabs. Different modelsare suggested considering the effect of concrete compressive and tensilestrength, amount of flexural reinforcements, yield strength of thereinforcement bars and steel fiber properties (volume percent, aspectratio, and type of steel fibers). The predicted results are compared with theexperimental data found in literature and found good agreement.
