Abstract

Epidemic diseases spread in the Arab countries as a result of the dreadful climactic and environmental conditions in addition to the lack of means of treatment of pollution which occurs in rivers and streams Plague is considered one of the most vital diseases which affected Arab inhabitants we have cited in this research the sayings of t5he prophet Muhammad(PBU) and his companion my Allah show mercy upon them on the issues of plague.The research deals with four kinds of plague which were dominant in Islam in the year (18-132 AH.) by which ,many notable characters were affected including prophet Muhammad companions and a number of scholars and orators and its influence on society.It was concluded that the term plague is derived from the name of city it spreads in or a feature distinguishing it like the sweeping plague because of the increasing number of victims or it is ascribed to the name of person affected
