Consensus reality of human resources planning and strategic planning in public shareholding companies in Jordan and the impact on performance: a field study from the point of Nzermadaran

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the application of alignment between The Strategic Planning and Human Resource Planning at the 291 Shareholding Companies in Jordan. Also, to examine the impact of that alignment on companies' performance in terms of profitability and market value added. The sample of the study was the 58 companies which implement Strategic Planning and Human Resource Planning as the results of the pilot study indicated. Questionnaire was designed to collect the necessary data from (171) managers composed the unit of analysis of the study. The study showed some different results. Some of the findings showed that alignment between Strategic Planning & Human resource Planning were highly implemented at the researched Shareholding Companies, and there was significant effect of the Strategic Planning and Human Resource Planning alignment on companies' performance
