Degenerate Four-Wave Mixing Experiments In Rose Bengal Dye Doped Gelatin Film

Abstract

Optical phase-conjugation (OPC) wasobserved in Rose Bengal dye-doped gelatinfilms via Degenerate four-wave mixing(DFWM) using continuous wave of SHG ofNd-YAG laser radiation ( =532 nm) of totalpower 50 mW. Various parameters whichinfluence the phase-conjugate (PC) signalduring the DFWM process were studied. ThePC signal contributions from inducedholographic transmission and reflectiongratings were measured. It observed amaximum PC beam reflectivity of 0.15% inthese dye-doped gelatin films.
