Abstract

The contrast represent a measure of image acuity .Where the image of high contrast has high variation in intensity and color between different image regions . So from optical view it is easier to determine the boundary and the characteristics of image objects .Here we capture several images by enet web camera to white test image illustrated by tungsten light in different intensities and non- uniform distribution between two sides of white paper (test image). Where the left side of light intensity and the right side of low intensity we applying histogram equalization method to enhance the appearance of the images from the results we show that the images of low lightness converted to white picture totally. Also, the images captured at high .(dark image and bright image ) voltages, decreases it's intensity of lightness
