An Investigation Prospective Teacher’s Attitudes to Using Literature in the EFL Classroom

Abstract

The present study has a twofold goal. On the one hand it examines the pores and cons of using literature in the ESL/EFL classroom. On the other it investigates the feeling and thought of prospective teachers on English as a foreign language concerning the inclusion of literature in the EFL classroom. In order to concertize the views of prospective English language teachers on the inclusion of literature in the EFL classroom an opinion survey of questioners was applied to 50 prospective teachers
