STUDY THE EFFECTS OF PLOWING DEAPTHS AND DIFFERENT SPEEDS ON SOME PERFORMANCE INDICATORS OF THE MACHINE UNIT

Abstract

Abstract: Research has included to study the effects of plowing deapths and different speeds on some performance indicators of the machine unit under two levels of deep tillage (15 - 20) cm and (25 - 30) cm and three levels of practical speed of the machine unit (2.81, 4.47 and 6.32) km/h with three replications. LSD test under 0.05 levels was used to compare the treatment means. The studied parameters were: Slippage percentage, coefficient of speed exploitation, effect field capacity, Field efficiency, soil volume disturbs and fuel consumption per area. The results showed: that the depth 15 – 20 cm is superior in different effects to the depth 25 – 30 cm on all study parameters except soil volume distribution 419.2 m3/h . and also the results showed that the speed 6.32 Km/h is superior in different effects to the other speed on all study parameters except slippage percentage 13.86 % . Mean while the interaction between the first depth 15 – 20 cm with the third speed 6.32 Km/h are superior in different effect to the all treatment recorded the highest value of the effected field capacity 0.331 ha/h by the less value of the fuel consumption 19.65 L/ha.
