The Relationship between Some Personal Variables and Alienation: Career Exploratory Study of the Views of a Sample of Primary School Teachers in Nineveh Province

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims at to identify the relationship between certain personality variables of primary school teachers with the dimensions of the job alienation in their schools. The sample was selected randomly from some primary schools in Nineveh Governorate depending on the hypothesis that takes into consideration the nature and the dimensions of the relationship between the personality variables and the dimensions of job alienation. A questionnaire was designed for this purpose and the questionnaire forms were distributed to the respondents (47 teachers). Data were collected using of Spearman correlation coefficient and Chi Square, which were preceded by theoretical framework prepared depending on the opinions of some authors concerning the concepts of the personality variables and job alienation, the researcher reached a set of findings that resulted in several conclusions.
