التأثير المزدوج لــ 2,4-D في تكوين الجـــذور العرضيـة وإبادة الأدغـــــال

Abstract

The main objective of this study to elucidate the dual effect of 2,4-D (2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid ) in the formation of mung bean cuttings & in the controlling the (Raphanus raphanistrum ) weeds . Supplying with different concentration of 2,4-D were not effect in root number in the cuttings except (10-3M) was inhibitory complete the root formation &significant increasing in the rooting response (371.6%) with reduce the duration for treatment from (24 h.) to (1/2 h) . Influence of 2,4-D in the root formation with 2,4-D (10-3M) in the aged cuttings stimulate four duplicate the control cuttings .Manipulate in the type, concentration ,duration for treatment& the type of plant were increase the effect of 2,4-D .While in the controlling of weeds with (10-3M) of 2,4-D was cause colorless ,leaf epinasty, curvature of shoot . the study of the activity of SOD (superoxide dismutase) & CAT(catalase) were increase non significant in the (10-3M) in 2,4-D for (30 min) , while significant increase in the CAT activity when foliar supplied of 2,4-D with the same concentration and decrease with the increase period of treatment so curvature ,leaf epinasty were observed. Increasing in the SOD activity in the early stage then slow down in the last stage.
