Legislative Structure in the Federal Regimes in Iraq and Malaysia: A Geographic Contrastive Study

Abstract

This study includes two sections. The first one describes natural and demographicresources of Republic of Iraq and Federation of Malaysia. It mentions similarities anddissimilarities in these resources between the two countries. It is shown that the differentresources are longitude and latitude coordinates, surface, climate, natural vegetation, andeconomic activities. On the other hand, the similar characteristics include the presence ofethnic and religious diversities, and the total population size. This section introduces forthe second one, which discusses in a comparative way the corresponding constitutionalarticles relevant to federalism in both countries and shows the similarities anddifferences in the texts of these articles between the two countries constitution.
