Trade policy in light of the current international economic variables

Abstract

Abstract:Trade policy occupies a prominent position in the economic policies on both local and global levels. On the local level, this policy affects the economic development programs. On the other hand this policy determines the status that could a country achieves in deviding the international labor and global market. after the global financial crisis in 2008, the talk has been renewed about the ideal trade policy. For many specialists, this crisis was caused by the free trade policy, where the industrial countries that promote and sponsor free trade, have been resorted to the protectional policies but in new models which embodies saving plans stimulus programs after the crisis has transmited from United States to the European Union in which became a global economic crisis. Demands of applying protectional policies and restricting trade have been renewed to protect development countries from industrial countries products returned from products control. The research aims to shed light on the economic financial crisis of 2008 and the consequences that followed, which reflected on the trade policies in the industrial and development countries. The significance of the research has been highlighted from the importance of subject since the economic financial crisis has been considered as one of the most important current variables on the international stage. In addition to the role of the trade policy as part of the economic policy in achieving economic development. The research based on the assumption that economic financial crisis of 2008 over shadowed on trade policies and the global balance of power the research has been divided into six axis. the first one dealt with the financial crisis analysis. the second goes through the effect of that crisis on trade policies in the industrial countries, while the third goes through the effect of the financial crisis of trade policies in development countries. the fourth convenes the crisis on the Arab countries. the fifth deals with the financial crisis. Finally the sixth goes through the future of trade policy in the light of t global financial crisis consequences. In conclusion, the research has achieved some of conclusions and recommendations.
