Controversial Central and Marginal Preview of Generations Conflict in Contemporary Arabic Poetry

Abstract

The issue of renewal has prompted writers' interesting, past and present and has an important focus of the axes of their criticism and writings. It has been obsessed with change on their attitudes from the experiences of a new scene in poetic Arabic. Thus, we became confronted with ready positions like that of Mahmoud Abbas Al- Akkad when he strongly criticized the experience of free verse that formed a milestone in the Arabic poetry, Nazek Al-Malaieka and Ahmed Abdel Muti Hijazi and their stances against the prose poem and other's divergent positions of any new forms in the arena of intellectual and literary works . It seems to be that the fear of renewal is going to make creators remain worried about not because of their rejection of the only new, but the fear of their presence in the areas of stability and survival in the center and not in the margin. This fear is the one who is going to develop attitudes and desire to antagonize the all-new occurring on the literary scene. This what the researcher tries to shed light on in this research .
