Description of The Journal
The Journal is one of the major contribution to the Scientific Research Programmes at University of Kufa. It is published by Faulty of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at the University of Kufa.
The Journal is mainly concern with publications of a high quality researches that meet the publication conditions in a specialist of Mathematics and Computing. It is quarterly journal, to include two numbers during a year (paper and electronic).
The journal release its first issue successfully in April 2010, followed by four other numbers that contain several papers submitted for publication, of which many papers presented and accepted by our first scientific conference held by our faculty, entitled “Recent Trends in Information Technology and Mathematics for the period 13-14 April 2011 .
The last number V is dedicated to papers presented and accepted at our second scientific research conference, entitled “The First International Scientific Conference for Information Technology , Telecommunications and E-learning for the period 24 – 25 April 2012. The Conference is held by our faculty in co-operation with College of Education for Girls and College for Education, and Research Centre for Information Rehabilitation.

Abstract

في ضوء نتائج الدراسة الحالية يمكن أن نلخص الاستنتاجات الآتية : 1- إستراتيجية الجيجسو تزيد من تحصيل الطلاب في التحصيل والتفكير الجانبي. 2- حجم اثر إستراتيجية الجيجسو على تحصيل الطلاب والتفكير الجانبي كبير . 3- هناك صعوبات في تطبيق إستراتيجية الجيجسو تتمثل بالوقت وتعود الطلاب على العمل التعاوني . 4- ضعف طلاب الصف الخامس العلمي بصورة عامة في التفكير الجانبي .

On The Stability Of Fixed Points In Topological Spaces

Abstract

In this papers we introduced new concepts of stability: strongly stable, c-stable, and c-strongly stable. We discussed the stability of fixed points with respect to each of a topology and a base for that topology. We obtained that if a fixed point is stable (strongly stable, c-stable, strongly c- stable respectively) with respect to a base for a topology, then it is stable (strongly stable, c-stable, strongly c- stable respectively) with respect to that topology.

Abstract

In this paper, we gave a new topological concept and we called it the open limit point compactness.We have proved that each of the compactness, and the limit point compactness is stronger than of the open limit point compactness., that is, compactness implies open limit point compactness, also limit point compactness implies open limit point compactness, but the converse is not true. Also we have shown that the continuous image of an open limit point compact is an open limit point compact and so this property is a topological property .This property is not a hereditary property. Connected spaces are open limit point spaces. The one-point compactification of a space is an open limit point compact. Finally, we have shown that if is an open limit point compact, then each of , and is an open limit point compact.

Ising Chains Properties at Low Temperature Extended Analysis

Abstract

The transfer matrix method is used to describe the properties of the random bond of a simple periodic frustrated Ising chain in a uniform magnetic field. Doman and Williams(1982) are found expressions for the thermodynamic functions of the system at low temperature. Their methods is extended to apply to a system of five-anti ferromagnetic bond Ising chain terminated by a ferromagnetic bond at low temperatures. New expressions for the magnetization, energy, and entropy as a functions of magnetic field is found. All results are in agreement with the previous results.

In this paper ,we introduce the notions 3- prime ideal with respect to an element x denoted by (x-3-prime ideal ) of a near ring and the 3-prime ideal near ring with respect to an element x denoted by (x-3-prime ideal near ring ) ,and we studied the image and inverse image of x-3-prime ideal under epimomorphism and the direct product of x-3-prime ideal of near ring .

The Hosoya polynomial of a graph G is a graphical invariant polynomial that its first derivative at x = 1 is equal to the Wiener index and second derivative at x =1 is equal to the hyperWiener index. In this paper we compute the Hosoya polynomial of some semiconducotors [Caesium Chloride, Perovskite structure, Zinc blende structure, Rock-salt(Nacl)structure, Wurtzite structure, Chalcopyrite structure], Wiener index and hyper-Wiener index for then.

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of meromorphic Univalent functions defined by Dziok_Srivastava operator for this class. We obtain coefficient inequality, convex set, closure and Hadamard product (or convolution).Further we obtain a(n,δ)-neighborhood of the function f∈ ϑ, and the integral transform.

Abstract

Whenever there is a relationship between the explanatory variables (X_S). This relationship causes multicollinearity which in turn leads to inaccurate and bias estimations of the model parameters. Therefore, this results in high discrepancy that influences the next phase of the statistical inference where (OLS), method loses its features having the lowest variance. Consequently, this paper concerns itself with figuring out methods that can be applied by researchers and those who are interested in this field to overcome this problem using (Ridge) method. Moreover, the paper seeks to solve other problems such as the loss of normal distribution property or abnormalility by means of methodical means including (Ridge) and (Robust Ridge). However this study is applied through simulation experiments aim at producing the data of the model. Based on these experiments and tests, the research has come up with the result that (Robust Ridge) is the best method that might be employed to solve the problem of has both normal and abnormal data for the estimation of the parameters of the Logistic Regression Model.

An Approach for Solving Missing Values in Data Set Using Clustering-Curve Fitting Technique

Abstract

Missing values in data sets represent one of the greatest challenge in analyzing data to extract knowledge from the data set. The work in this paper presents a new approach for solving the missing values problems by using and merging two different techniques; clustering (K-means and Expectation Maximization) and curve fitting. More than twenty thousand records of real health data set collected from different Iraqi hospitals were used to create and test the proposed approach that showed better results than the most popular techniques for estimation missing values such as most common values, overall overage, class average, and class most common values. Different software were used in the proposed work including WEKA (Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis), Matlab, Excel and C++.

This research is devoted to the study the sphericity test for one- way Multivariate Repeated Measurements Analysis of variance model. Also we obtain the likelihood ratio criterion . An application research, a study has been taken to diagnostics and isolation for kinds of becteria which compain with tissue cultivation for the dates and the study of frustrate affection for three kinds of extractor plant , which are called Rhuscoriaria and cinnamomumzeylanicum , the excretes of adhesive for the BswelliaSp plant and by using four kinds of solvent and three different condense. An experimental has been made for getting measurement for the best reacting extractor plant with the solvent by using different affection on frustrate core.
