AbstractThe one who follows up the Kuwaiti attitude from thepolitical changes by which the Iraqi arena is witnessing sincethe U.S. occupation to Iraq in 2003, he may find that since thebeginning of the war the great logistic support presented by theU.S. forces. After the occupation, Kuwait declared its supportto Iraqi governments formed after 2003. Head of thesegovernments paid visits to Kuwait to reinforce relations as wellas participating in so many meetings and conferences ofneighboring states. These meetings were held to support andhelp Iraq to regain security and stability. Iraqi scene hadwitnessed an activity of Kuwaiti companies in the fields ofpower and communication to flourish the economic relationsof both countries. However ,their relations after 2003 are stillsuffering from previous period and the continuous problemthen especially the problems of boarders, debts, and theKuwaiti loses in which Kuwait is still refusing to abandon oreven try to reconsider.

إن المتابع للموقف الكويتي من المتغيرات السياسية التي شهدتها الساحة العراقية منذ الاحتلال الأمريكي عام 2003، يجد أن هذا الموقف كان واضحا منذ بداية الحرب, من خلال الدعم اللوجستي الكبير الذي قدمته للقوات الأمريكية إبان حربها على العراق واحتلالها له.
بعد الاحتلال الأمريكي، أعربت الكويت عن دعمها وتأييدها للحكومات العراقية التي تشكلت بعد عام 2003، وقيام رؤساء هذه الحكومات بزيارة الكويت، بهدف تعزيز علاقات البلدين، فضلا عن استضافتها ومشاركتها في العديد من المؤتمرات والاجتماعات لدول جوار العراق التي عقدت لدعم ومساعدة العراق في محاولة لإعادة الأمن والاستقرار إليه، وتمكينه من تجاوز أوضاعه الراهنة. كما شهدت الساحة العراقية نشاط بعض الشركات الكويتية في مجالي الاتصالات والطاقة، بهدف تعزيز علاقات البلدين الاقتصادية. مع ذلك ورغم التطور الذي شهدته العلاقات بين البلدين بعد عام 2003، فإنها لا تزال تعاني من تراكمات المرحلة السابقة في ظل وجود واستمرار القضايا العالقة بينهما،لاسيما قضايا الحدود والديون والمفقودين.
