Meaning in life is considered to be one of the important subjects in life .The psychological exile has taken a great importance among the phenomena ,that the Iraqi society dealt with , for its widespread . The sample of the study is the orphan intermediate school students for the years (2015-2016) in the province of Diyala .They are 200 male and female students . The recent studg aims at : 1- Indicating the level of meaning in life for the orphan students .2-Indicating the level of meaning in life according to the type (males and females)3-Indicating the level of the psychological exile for the orphans.4-Indicating the level of meaning in the life according to the type (males and females).5-Indicating if there is a relation between meaning in life and the psychological exile. After analyzing the data statistically ,the following results are reached :1- The sample of the study has a meaning in life .2- There are no statistical differences in the meaning in life according to the type.3- The sample of the study has no psgchological exile.4- There are no statistical differences in the psychological exile according to the type ;males and females .At the end of the study ,the researcher presented a number of suggestions and recommendations.

يعد المعنى في الحياة من المواضيع المهمة في حياة الانسان . وقد آحتلَّ الاغتراب النفسي مكانا كبيرا بين الظواهر التي تناولها المجتمع العراقي لما له من صدى واسع الانتشار . وتضمنت عينة البحث من الطلبة ألايتام في المرحلة المتوسطة للعام الدراسي (2015-2016) في محافظة ديالى. وبلغت (200) طالب وطالبة .
