Abstract

A new ligand was synthesized and characterized by (FTIR) spectroscopy, Uv-vis and C.H.N. A speciation of mixed ligand complexes of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) with 3- amino-2- methyl -2-phenyl-2H-benzol [e][1,3] thiazin-(3H)- one and Glycine were prepare , isolated and characterized by (FTIR), Uv-vis spectra, atomic absorption , conductivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The biological activity for the prepared complexes was studied against selected kind of bacteria and fungus, for bacteria, gram negative as E coli and gram positive as staphylococcus aureus. The molecular structures of prepared complexes suggested according to the result of IR spectra, Uv-vis , magnetic susceptibility and molar conductance ,were octahedral for Co(II) and Ni(II) while square planner geometry for the Cu(II) complex .

يتضمن البحث تحضير وتشخيص ليكند جديد باستخدام التحليل الطيفي (FTIR) و Uv-vis و C.H.N . وكذلك تم تحضير معقدات الكوبلت Co(II) والنيكل Ni(II) والنحاس Cu(II) مع مزيج من ليكندات 3- amino-2- methyl -2-phenyl-2H-benzol [e][1,3] thiazin-(3H)- one و Glycineتم عزل المعقدات المحضره ودراستها باستخدام الطرق الطيفيه FTIR و Uv-vis والامتصاص الذري اللهبي والتوصيليه الكهربائيه المولاريه والحساسيه المغناطيسيه . تمت دراسة الفعاليه البيولوجيه للمعقدات المحضره ضد نوع معين من البكتريا والفطريات ، للبكتيريا ، gram negative مثل E coli و gram positive مثل a staphylococcus aureus . اضهرت اطياف الاشعه المرئيه وفوق البنفسجيه وقياسات الحساسيه المغناطيسيه والتوصيليه الكهربائيه المولاريه ان الشكل الهندسي للمعقد Co(II) , Ni(II) ثماني السطوح بينما الشكل الهندسي لمعقد Cu(II) مربع مستوي .

Abstract

In this work, Schiff base ligands L1: N, N-bis (2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde) hydrazine, L2: N, N-bis (salicylidene) hydrazine, and L3:N –salicylidene- hydrazine were synthesized by condensation reaction. The prepared ligands were reacted with specific divalent metal ions such as (Mn2+, Fe2+, Ni2+) to prepare their complexes. The ligands and complexes were characterized by C.H.N, FT-IR, UV-Vis, solubility, melting point and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The results show that the ligands of complexes (Mn2+, Fe2+) have octahedral geometry while the ligands of complexes (Ni2+) have tetrahedral geometry.

في هذا البحث حضرت ليكندات قواعد شف L1:N,N-bis(2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde)hydrazineL2:N,N-bis(salicylidene) ethylenediamineL3:N –salicylidene- hydrazine بواسطة تفاعل التكاثف. حضرت معقدات تناسقية من خلال تفاعل الليكندات المحضرة مع ايونات الفلزات (Mn2+, Fe2+, Ni2+). تم تشخيص المركبات المحضرة باستخدام قياسات جهاز تحليل العناصر C.H.N ومطياف الأشعة تحت الحمراء ومطياف الأشعة فوق البنفسجية والمرئية وقابلية الذوبان ونقطة الانصهار و القابلية المغناطيسية. بينت النتائج إن روابط المعقدات (Mn2+, Fe2+) هي ذات شكل هندسي ثمانية السطوح بينما روابط المعقدات (Ni 2+) هي ذات شكل هندسي رباعية السطوح.

Abstract

The corrosion inhibition on carbon steel in 1MHCl by 1, 2(2, 2-dihydroxy benzelidenamine) phenyl and its complexes was studied at different concentrations by "weight loss method". Data mark, for the compound shows good performance. These measurements show that the inhibition efficiency obtained by these complexes increased by increasing their concentration. The inhibition efficiency follow the order Co>Ni>Cu. The activation and adsorption thermodynamic parameters were determined and discussed. The surface coverage (Ɵ) of the inhibitors conform "Langmuir adsorption isotherm". (Morphology) of the carbon steel alloy has been examine using "scanning electron microscopy" in existence and inexistence of inhibitor.

Abstract

Schiff base obtained from the reaction (Trimethoprim) with (sodiumpyruvate ) to produce the ligand [NaL], the reaction was carried out in methanol as a solvent under reflux. The prepared ligand [NaL] was characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, 1H,13C-NMR spectra, mass spectra, and melting point.A new mixed ligand complexes have been prepared between ( 8- hydroxyquinolone) and the ligand [NaL] withMn(II).Co(II),Ni(II),Cu(II), (Zn(II) ,(Cd(II)and Pd(II). All the complexes were characterized by spectroscopic methods (FT-IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy), chloride content and melting point ,molar conductance and magnetic susceptibility.These measure- ments showed octahedral geometry around(,Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+ and Cd2+) ions and square planner around Pd2+ ion
