Abstract

Abstract A field experiment was carried out at the Field Crops Research Station of Abu Ghraib Agricultural Research Department during the winter season2013- 2014 and 2014-2015.The aim to study the effect of wheat cultivars for irrigated period in some traits of growth and yield .Field experiments were conducted using three cultivars (Buhooth158, Buhooth22 and Cimmyt 7) main plot and second factor irrigated period (first period irrigated each 15 days and second period irrigated each 30 days) . The Randomized Completely Block Design with arrangement of split plots design with three replicates. The results showed that the Buhooth 158 cultivar gave highest flag leaf area and number of grains in spike was 48.52 ,47.18 cm2 and 38.88 35.76 for both seasons respectively and highest of grain yield 4.76 4.84 tan h-1 for both seasons respectively .While the Buhooth 22 gave highest main number of spike in m-2 317.0 322.7 spike m-2 for both seasons respectively .First irrigated period gave highest values in most traits while the second period reduced most traits because the negative effect of drought on spikelet's initiators , grain filling and all the reasons follow to

نفذت تجربة حقلية في محطة أبحاث المحاصيل الحقلية التابعة لدائرة البحوث الزراعية في أبي غريب التابعة إلى وزارة الزراعة للموسميين الزراعيين 2013- 2014 و2014- 2015بهدف دراسة استجابة أصناف من حنطة الخبز لفترات الري وتأثيرها في بعض صفات النمو والحاصل تضمنت التجربة عاملين هما أصناف الحنطة (بحوث158، بحوث22 وسمت 7) كمعاملات رئيسة ,والعامل الثاني فترات الري (الري كل 15 يوم والري كل 30 يوما ).طبقت التجربة بترتيب الألواح المنشقة على وفق تصميم القطاعات الكاملة المعشاة بثلاثة مكررات. أظهرت النتائج تفوق الصنف بحوث 158 بإعطاء أعلى مساحة لورقة العلم وعدد الحبوب في السنبلة بلغت(48.52و47.18سم2 ) و( 88.38 و 35.76 حبة سنبلة-1) لكلا الموسمين على التتابع . وتميز بإعطاء أعلى حاصل للحبوب بلغ 4.76 و4.87 طن هـ-1 لكلا الموسمين على التتابع ,بينما اظهر الصنف بحوث 22 تميز بإعطاء أعلى معدل لعدد السنابل الخصبة في المتر المربع بلغ 264.25و265.65 سنبلة م-2 لكلا الموسمين على التوالي. تميزت الفترة الأولى بإعطاء أعلى القيم في اغلب الصفات المدروسة بينما الفترة الثانية انخفضت فيها معظم الصفات بسبب الجفاف الذي أدى تأثيره السلبي على مساحة ورقة العلم وتكون الاشطاء الخصبة مما أدى إلى تدهور الإنتاجية في الموسمين على التتابع.

Evaluating the Effect of Supplementary Irrigation on Improvement of Economic Water Productivity for Winter Wheat

Abstract

Utilizing of subsurface water retention technology is a modern technique to retain and save the application water for sustainability of agricultural production through scheduling and management the irrigation processes. The goal of this paper is to evaluate the effect of the supplementary irrigation and rainfed water on improvement of economic water productivity for winter wheat. The experiment was conducted in open field, within Joeybeh Township, located in east of the Ramadi City, in Anbar Province, for the growing season 2018-2019. Two plots were used for comparison process, the first plot where membrane trough below the root depth was installed and supplementary irrigation system was conducted beside the rainfed water and according to scheduling the irrigation process as checkbook method. While in second plot, the membrane trough was installed and only rainfed water was depend on. Cultivated date of winter wheat was December, 20th, 2018, and the harvest date was May, 10th, 2019. The obtained result was showed that the crop yield and economic water productivity from the first plot and the second plot were equaled to 0.52 kg/m2 and 0.35 kg/m2, and 930 ID/m3 and 800 ID/m3, respectively. The increasing value of crop yield and economic water productivity in the first plot was more than that in the second plot by 49 % and 16 %, respectively. The benefits of applying supplementary irrigation system with installing the new techniques of retaining the applied water were sufficient in improvement the crop yield and accordingly improved value of the economic water productivity.

Abstract

Background and objective: Considering the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties of green tea, this study aimed to evaluate the histopathological effect of the sulcular irrigation of green tea extract in the treatment of experimental gingivitis in rabbit.Materials and methods: For this experimental study, 45 male rabbits, separated in two groups, control non- irrigated group (5rabbits) and study group (40 rabbits), gingivitis induced by ligatures was packed subgingivally in the lower right central incisors of the experimental group for seven days. Then, the animals were randomly designated to two irrigated groups (20 rabbits for each) with 50μl/kg of distilled water and 5% green tea extract once daily for seven days starting from the day of ligature removal respectively. Specimens have taken at 1, 3, 7, and 14 days for light microscopical evaluation of inflammatory cellular infiltration.Results: Regarding study group (5% of green tea extract), results demonstrated a significant reduction in the mean values of inflammatory cell counts within three days (P≤ 0.05) to reach the amount of control group within seven days (P˃ 0.05). A highly significant difference was detected between control group and study group sprayed with distilled water during all healing periods (P≤ 0.05). Histological examination showed that the resolution of gingival inflammation, re-epithelization, and tissue healing were achieved much quicker in the group of gingival sulcular irrigation with 5% green tea extract.Conclusions: In this experimental study, the histopathological analysis demonstrated that the use of 5% extract of green tea as gingival sulcular irrigation might fasten healing after the induction of gingivitis.

Abstract

The Field experiment was Carried out during the growing season 2016-2017 in the College of Agriculture University of Tikrit Research Station in the soil of gypsum for the study of type water (River water and well water) , spraying three concentrations Salicylic acid Addition (0, 100,200 Mg.liter-1) and spraying three concentrations cytokinin (0,100,150 Mg.liter-1) in some Growth and yield of fennel of. these transactions arranged in a experiment Factorial in split plots in three replicates . The results indicated well water and concentration Salicylic acid Addition (200 Mg.liter-1) and concentration cytoknin Addition (150 Mg.liter-1) in all the traits and respectively where gave the highest value for recipes (plant heigh cm ,shoots number (soot.phant-1) , plant dry weight (g) , The Nitrogen percent, Phosphorus percent, Potassium percent, number of inflorescence in plant (inflorescence .phant-1), number of fruits in inflorescence (fruits .inflorescence-1) , weight of 1000 fruit (g), total yield( Kg .h-1) was (92.570cm,6.16 shoot.plant-1 , 10.548 (g) ,1.87, 0.50, 0.48 ,16.86(infloresence.plant-1),328.49(fruit.inflorescence-1),10.62(g),2372.2(Kg.h-1)and(83.467cm,5.69 (shoot.plant-1 (, 9.498 (g),1.96, 0.55, 0.53 ,10.05 (g) , 2050.5Kg.h-1) and (5.64 shoot.plant-1 ,1.92, ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ2 البحث مستل من اطروحة دكتوراه الباحث الثاني0.53, 0.50 ,9.87 (g) , 2037.3 Kg.h-1) on the relay. The interferometry gave both (well water with) salicylic acid 200) and (well water with cytokinin 150) and (salicylic acid 200 with cytokinin 150the highest values for all the studied traits above, the overlap trio were given treatment (well water with salicylic acid 200 with cytokinin 150 ) the highest values for all studied above respectively.

نفذت التجربة حقلية خلال الموسم الزراعي 2016-2017 في محطة ابحاث قسم المحاصيل الحقلية/ كلية الزراعة / جامعة تكريت في تربة جبسية لدراسة تاثير نوعان لمياه الري (ماء نهر وبئر) وثلاث تراكيز من حامض السالساليك (0 , 100 , 200 ملغم.لتر-1) وثلاث تراكيز من السايتوكاينين(0 , 100 , 150 ملغم.لتر-1) في بعض صفات النمو والحاصل لنبات حبة الحلوة هذه المعاملات رتبت في تجربة عاملية داخل قطع منشقة في ثلاث مكررات النتائج اشارت الى تفوق ماء البئر و تركيز حامض السالساليك (200 ملغم.لتر-1) والسايتوكاينين بتركيز (150 ملغم.لتر-1) في جميع الصفات المدروسة على التوالي حيث اعطت اعلى القيم لصفات (ارتفاع النبات سم،عدد الافرع .نبات-1 ، الوزن الجاف للنبات (غم)، النسبة المؤية للنايتروجين ,النسبة المؤية للفسفور النسبة الؤية للبوتاسيوم ، عدد النورات في النبات نورة.نبات-1 ,عدد الثمار في النورة الرئيسة ثمرة.نبات-1 ، وزن 1000 ثمرة (غم) و الحاصل الكلي كغم.ه-1) بلغت (92.570 سم ،6.16 فرع.نبات-1، 10.548 غم.نبات-1 ،1.87 ، 0.50 ، 0.48 , 16.68 نورة.نبات-1 ،328.49 ثمرة.نورة-1, 10.62 غم ،2372.2 كغم.ه-1 ) و (83.467 سم ،5.69 فرع.نبات-1، 9.498 غم ،1.96 , 0.55 , 0.53 ، 10.05 غم ،2050.5 كغم.ه-1 ) و (5.64 فرع.نبات-1،1.92 , 0.53 , 0.50 ، 9.87 غم ،2037.3 كغم.ه-1 ) على التتابع ، أما فيما يتعلق بالتداخل الثنائي فقد اعطى التداخل كل من (ماء بئر مع سالساليك 200 ملغ.لتر-1) و (ماء البئر مع سايتوكاينين 150 ملغم.لتر-1) و(سالساليك 200 ملغم.لتر-1 مع سايتوكاينين 150 ملغم.لتر-1) أعلى قيم لجميع الصفات المدروسة اعلاه ، أما التداخل الثلاثي فقد اعطت المعاملة (ماء بئر وساساليك 200 مع سايتوكاينين 150) أعلى قيم لجميع المدروسة اعلاة على التوالي .
