Abstract

New derivatives of progesterone were synthesized by the reaction of progesterone with hydrazine and thiosemicarbazide then cyclized by using of ethylacetoacetate and ethylallylmalonate. The new compounds were characterized by using of Melting point and FT-IR spectroscopy. The new compounds were tested against selected types of gram positive and gram negative bacteria,and show encarge activity.

تم تحضير مشتقات جديدة لهرمون البروجستيرون و ذلك باستخدام الهايدرازين و الثايوسيميكاربازايد و من ثم الغلق الحلقي بواسطة اثيل اليل مالونيت و اثيل اسيتو استيت.تم تشخيص التركيب الكيميائي للمركبات المحضرة بواسطة قياس درجة الانصهار و مطيافية الاشعة تحت الحمراء.تم اختبار الفعالية البايولوجية لكل من المركبات المحضرة على انواع مختارة من البكتريا الموجبة لصبغة غرام و البكتريا السالبة لصبغة غرام.

Abstract

7-hydroxy-4-methylcoumarin was synthesized by the reaction of resorcinol with ethylacetoacetate, then reacted with chloroacetone and acetic anhydride to give 4-methyl-7-(2-oxopropoxy)-2H-chromen-2-one and 7- Acetoxy -4-methyl-coumarin.New derivatives of chalcone were synthesized by the reaction of 4-methyl-7-(2-oxopropoxy)-2H-chromen-2-one and 7- Acetoxy -4-methyl-coumarin with substitutedbenzaldehyde in presence of potassium hydroxide.Acid hydrazide synthesis from reaction of ethyl cyanoacetate with hydrazine hydratealso acid hydrazide was reacted with compound 4-methyl-7-(2-oxopropoxy)-2Hchromen-2-one to give compound (11), then compound (11) reacted with salicylaldehydeand 5-bromosalicylaldehyde to obtain coumarin derivatives (12-13). The new compoundswere characterized by some spectroscopic methods (FT-IR spectroscopy, 1H-NMRspectral and GC-Mass) and determination of their physical properties such as meltingpoints.

تم تحضير 7-هايدروكسى- 4-مثيل كيومارين من مفاعلة الفينول مع الاثيل اسيتو اسيتيت. ثم مفاعلته مع كلورو اسيتونكرومين- 2-اون و 7-اسيتوكسى- 4- مثيل -H 2- اوكسو بروبوكسى(- 2 (- و أسيتك أنهيدريد للحصول على 4- مثيل- 7كيومارين.- كرومين- 2-اون أو 7 -H 2- اوكسو بروبوكسى(- 2 (- وتحضير مشتقات جديدة من الجالكون بواسطة تفاعل 4- مثيل- 7اسيتوكسى- 4- مثيل كيومارين مع الديهايدات اروماتية معوضة بوجود هيدروكسيد البوتاسيوم. وكذلك مفاعلة- الهايدرازايد ( 10 ) مع المركب ( 2) للحصول على المركب ( 11 ), ثم مفاعلة المركب ( 11 ) مع السالسلديهايد و 5. (13- بروموسالسلديهايد للحصول على المشتقين ( 12المركبات المحضرة تم تشخيصها بواسطة الاشعة تحت الحمراء و طيف الرنين النووى المغناطسيى وتحديد الخواصالفيزيائية لهذه المركبات ومنها درجة الانصهار و غيرها.

Abstract

New series of Schiff Bases were synthesized by many steps starting from treatment of ethyl-4-aminobenzoate with hydrazine hydrate to yield 4-aminobenzohydrazide (1) which was reacted with ethyl acetoacetate in ethanol to form pyrazole derivative (2) and this reacted with salicylaldehyde to yield azo compound (3). The azo compound condensation with appropriate amines (ethyl-4-aminobenzoate and 3-nitroaniline) to give new Schiff bases (4,5). The synthesized compounds were characterized by melting points, FTIR and 1HNMR.

Abstract

This work involves the chemical synthesis of a series of metalcomplexes have been the general production (M(L)2X2), where M = Mn(II),Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II).The ligand (L): 4-(4-(dimethylamino) phenyl)-2-oxo-6-(2-oxo-6-(phenyldiazenyl)-2H-chromen-3-yl)-1,2-dihydropyridine-3-carbonitrile (DPOPCD). These complexes have been prepared and characterizedby ligand to metal mole ratio, molar conductance, and spectral (Uv-Visible andFT-IR) studies. The IR spectral data propose the involvement from oxygen andnitrogen at coordination for the central metal ion. On the resulting products, anoctahedral geometry has suggested to all complexes.

Abstract

Measurements of stability constant of complexes formed by interaction of potassium 5-mercapto-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-ylcarbamo dithioate (K+TC-) with (Ag+, Ca+2, Mn+2 , Co+2, Ni+2, Zn+2, Cd+2, and Pb+2 Cr+3, Fe+3, La+3 ,) ions, have been performed. The bidentate ligand (K+ TCS-) has a hardness parameter (α) of (0.350) and a softness (ß ) parameter of (0.05). Bonding in these complexes occur most probably through sulfur atom of carbonate group and ione pair electrons of the isomethine nitrogen atom for oxadiazole ring.

فى هذا البحث تم تعيين ثوابت استقرارية معقدات الليكاند بوتاسيوم-(2-ميركبتو-1,3,4-اوكسادايازول) -5-امينو-ثنائى ثايو كارباميت (TCS-K+) مع ايونات (الفضة الاحاديه - المنغنيز-الكوبلت-النيكل-النحاس-الزنك-الرصاص-الكادميوم الثنائية -الكروم و الحديد الثلاثية- وايون الانثنيوم الثلاثي من عناصر الانثانات) فى درجة 25 م0 . ثم دراسة طبيعة اليكيند مع الايونات المنتقاة ووجد انه يتناسق ثنائى السن عن طريقة كبريت مجموعة الثايوكارباميت و نتروجين حلقة الاوكسادايازول. ثم حساب صلادة و ليونة الليكاند ووجد ان معامل الصلادة ( α) هو (0.350) و معامل الليونة ( ( ßيساوي (0.05) .

Abstract

New 1,2-dihydropyridine-3-carbonitrile derivative compounds (3,4) were synthesized by cyclization of ketones (compound (1) and compound (2)) with appropriate aldehydes (4-N, N-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde and 4-chloro-2-oxo-2H-chromene-3-carbaldehyde) in presence of ethyl cyano acetate and ammonium acetate. The new synthesized compounds have been characterized using Melting point, FT-IR spectroscopy and 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectrum. The evaluation of biological activity of some synthesized compounds (1-4) with different concentration 10 mg mL−1, 1 mg mL−1 and 0.1 mg mL−1, against two types of bacteria on gram positive bacterial Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenus and gram nagetive bacterial Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumniae.

Abstract

Synthesis of coumarins, that were a structurally motivating antioxidant action, was finished in our article. Four components are condensed in the synthesis 4-hydroxycoumarin, 5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione, and aromatic aldehydes, using tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB), diammonium hydrogen phosphate (DAHP), respectively to yield target compounds(1-4). The present methods have advantages, including one-pot synthesis, excellent yields, short reaction times, and easy isolation of product. All catalysts utilized in our study could be reused several times without losing their catalytic efficiency. The structures of the synthesized compounds were elucidating by spectro-scopically methods, Infrared Spectra FT-IR and 1H and 13C Nuclear/Magnetic/Resonance Spectra and elemental analysis techniques, melting point and thin layer chromatography. The scavenging activities of individual molecules were tested vs. stable free radical(1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH)), the results were compared to the Gallic acid. The results show that most of the compounds exhibited higher antioxidant activates than the standards in different concentration range. The highest efficiency scavenging activity was found for compound 2 (88.0±1%) followed by compounds 3 (83±0.5%).The component of the integrated mixes as cell reinforcements was likewise examined.

Abstract

- Syntheses of coumarins, which are a structurally interestingantioxidant activity, was done in this article. The modification of 4-hydroxycoumarin by different reaction steps was done to yield targetcompounds. The structures of the synthesized compounds werecharacterized by spectroscopic methods, Infrared Spectra FT-IR and 1Hand 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectra and elemental analysistechniques, melting point and thin layer chromatography. The antioxidantactivities of individual compounds were tested against hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) and the results werecompared to the ascorbic acid and trolox as standards. The results showthat hydrogen peroxide scavenging activity of compounds 2and 3 are higherthan that of the standard, and the values are 81.1±1.0%, and 82.3±1.5%,respectively and the compounds 1 and 4show scavenging activity onhydrogen peroxide with lower value compared with ascorbic acid..
