Abstract

In this work new 1,5-disubstituted tetrazoles containing 1,3,4-thiadiazole, benzothiazole moieties and azo group have been synthesized. At first, 2-aminobenzothiazole was converted to the corresponding azoaldehyde derivatives 1 via coupling reaction of its diazonium salt with 2- hydroxybenzaldehyde, which dissolved in sodium hydroxide solution, as coupling reagent. Next, the resulting azoaldehyde derivative 1 was introduced in acid-catalyzed condensation reactions with both 2-amino-5-mercapto-1.3,4-thiadiazole and 2-aminobenzothiazole to give two azoimine derivatives 2 and 3 containing 1,3.4-thiadiazole and benzothiazole moieties, respectively. Later, the resulting azoimines 2 and 3 were introduced in [3+2] cycloaddition reactions with sodium azide in tetrahydrofuran to obtain two new 1,5-disubstituted tetrazoles 4 and 5, respectively.The structures of new synthesized tetrazoles have been confirmed using the spectroscopic means including FT-IR, 1H NMR and Mass. The new synthesized tetrazoles have been tested for their antibacterial activity against two types of bacteria, Staphylococcus aureous (Gram-positive) and Escherichia coli (Gram-negative), The results indicated that both synthesized tetrazoles showed medium activity against Gram-positive bacteria. On the other hand, both tetrazoles showed no effect against Gram-negative bacteria.

في هذا العمل تم تحضير مشتقي تترازول جديدين ثنائيا التعويض في الموقعين 1،5 الحاويان على وحدتي 4،3،1-ثاياديازول و البنزوثيازول ومجموعة الازو. في البداية تم تحويل المركب 2-امينوبنزوثيازول الى مشتق الأزوالديهايد المقابل 1 عن طريق تفاعل الازدواج مابين ملح الدايازونيوم لهذا الامين ومركب 2-هيدروكسي بنزالديهايد المذاب في محلول هيدروكسيد الصوديوم ككاشف ازدواج. تم بعد ذلك ادخال مشتق الازوالديهايد الناتج 1 في تفاعلات تكثيفية محفزة بحامض مع كل من 2-امينو5-مركبتو-4،3،1-ثاياديازول و 2-امينوبنزوثيازول على التوالي في الايثانول المطلق فتم الحصول على مشتقي الازوايمين 2 و3 الحاويين على وحدتي 4،3،1-ثاياديازول و البنزوثيازول. تم ادخال مشتقي الازوايمين الناتجين 2 و3 لاحقا و على التوالي في تفاعلات الاضافة الحلقية [2+3] مع ازيد الصوديوم في التتراهيدروفيوران فتم الحصول على مشتقي التترازول 4 و5 الثنائية التعويض في الموقعين1،5. شخص تركيب كل من مشتقي التترازول الجديدين المحضرين بوساطة االطـرائق الطـيفية المتضـمنة مطيافية الأشـعة تحــت الحمــراء والرنين النووي المغناطسي للبروتون بالاضافة الى مطيافية الكتلة. تم فحص الفعالية البايولوجية لمشتقي التترازول المحضرين ضد نوعين من البكتريا هما (Staphylococcus aureous) الموجبة لصبغة كرام و (Escherichia coli ) السالبة لصبغة كرام، وقد بينت نتائج الاختبار الاولي بأن كلا المشتقين أظهرا فعالية تثبيطية متوسطة تجاه البكتريا الموجبة لصبغة كرام. من جهة اخرى , وجد أن كلا المشتقين لم يظهرا اي تاثير تجاه البكتريا السالبة لصبغة كرام.

The effect of aging on tensile strength of two maxillofacial silicone materials before and after pigmentation

Abstract

Background The approximate life span of a silicone maxillofacial prosthesis is as short as after 4-14 months of usage, then a new prosthesis should be fabricated. But now many researchers have been directed toward improvement of properties silicone elastomeric materials. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of aging on tensile strength of two types of silicone materials used in the maxillofacial prostheses (VST-30 and VST-06) after artificial weathering for 100, 200 and 300 hours, and then comparing between the two selected materials in terms of selected artificial weatheringperiods. Material and methods a sample of 160 specimens were prepared anddivided into two main groups according to the types of elastomeric silicone (VST-30 and VST-06). Then each group subdivided into 8 divisions, (n=10). Two groups, one for clear and one pigmented as control groups before experimental weathering .While the experimental groups divided into clear and pigmented groups treated with artificialweathering for 100, 200 and 300 h. Results after different weathering cycles theresults show that there was no significant difference in the tensile strength for VST-30 silicone material pigment before and after weathering. While there was a highly significantdifference in the tensile strength for VST-06 pigmented silicone before and after weathering. Both VST-30 and VST-06 non-pigmented groups showed a highly significant change in the tensile strength after different weathering cycles. Conclusionsthe superior type for mechanical properties after difference cycles weathering was for VST-30 and incorporation of rayon flocking prevents the silicone materials from rapid degradation under artificial weathering and this may lead to increase in the service life of silicone prosthesis.

Abstract

The present study was conducted to explain the efficacy of Ruchamax on rumen biochemical parameters in sheep. A total twenty healthy ewes were selected randomly, then divided into two groups . The first group consider as control while the second group was treated with Ruchamax 1.5 kg per ton of feed for 45 days. The physical examination of the rumen liquor was done weekly at zero , 7 , 14 ,21 , 28, 35 , and 42 days , while rumen liquor biochemical parameters were done at zero , 15, 30, and 45th days after treatment . It was observed that supplementation of Ruchamax significantly improved rumen liquor profile, physical properties and biochemical parameters of rumen liquor.In a concluded that can use ruchmax to improve rumen ecosystem safely for 45 days in sheep.

Abstract

The importance of the research is shown in the use of a new assisting equipment to develop the accuracy of scoring of young players. The research aimed at setting trainings by using assisting equipment to develop the accuracy of scoring as well as knowing the effect of these trainings by using the assisting equipment. The researchers used the experimental method for it goes hand by hand with the nature of the problem that is meant to be solved by designing ( two equal groups, the experimental and the control for the pre and post tests). The sample of the research consists of (20) players from the soccer team of the college of arts and the college of languages in futsel. They were divided into two groups. The results has been showed, analyzed, and discussed which showed that the experimental group is ahead of the control group as far as the test's results are concerned. According to the results, the most important conclusions proves that the assisting equipment has the effect in improving the accuracy of scoring of the experimental group, and the trainings used for improving the accuracy of scoring achieved a progress for the experimental group in the post-test. Concerning the main recommendations, the researchers urged the coaches to use the assisting equipments in their training units in order to improve the various skills in futsel, and the necessity of the coach to make the players aware of the importance of scoring from the areas which are in front of the opponent goal.

ظهرت أهمية البحث في استعمال وسيلة مساعدة جديدة في تطوير دقة التهديف للاعبين، فقد هدف البحث إلى إعداد تمرينات باستعمال الوسيلة المساعدة لتطوير دقة التهديف وكذلك التعرف على تأثير التمرينات باستعمال الوسيلة المساعدة. استعمل الباحثان المنهج التجريبي لملائمته طبيعة المشكلة المراد حلها بتصميم (المجموعتين المتكافئتين التجريبية والضابطة ذات الاختبارين القبلي و ألبعدي). تألفت عينة البحث من(20)لاعباً من منتخب كلية الآداب وكلية اللغات بكرة القدم للصالات، اذ تم تقسيمهم على مجموعتين، وقد تم عرض وتحليل ومناقشة النتائج التي اظهرت تفوق المجموعة التجريبية على الضابطة في متغيرات البحث و كانت أهم الاستنتاجات في ضوء النتائج ان للوسيلة المساعدة تأثير في تحسين مهارة دقة التهديف على عينة البحث التجريبية، وكذلك حققت التمارين المستعملة في تحسين مهارة دقة التهديف تفوقاً لدى المجموعة التجريبية في الاختبار البعدي ، أما أهم التوصيات فكانت حث المدربين باستعمال الوسائل المساعدة في الوحدات التدريبية لتطوير المهارات المختلفة في كرة القدم للصالات و ضرورة التأكيد على اللاعبين من قبل المدرب على أهمية التهديف من المناطق التي تكون أمام المرمى للمنافس .
