Abstract

The aim of the present study is estimation of the efficiency for the plant of Amaranthus spp in treatment of Hymenolepis nana and compare it with the efficiency of the chemical drug(Mebendazol). 15 white male mouse were taken which effected with Hymenolepis nana worms after given orally the eggs solution,the infection occure after (18-21)days,the mice were divided to 3 groups: the first and second group were given orally the Amaranthus extract and chemical drug respectively, while the thired groupe were given Phosphate Buffer Saline as control.The efficiency of the Amarusanth extract is equal to the chemical drug,it was 100% and the mice were stoped discharge the eggs for both group in the fourth day of the treatment.while the control group continue in discharge the eggs to the end of experiment period. also the worms not appear in the stool samples for the first and second groups but it find died in the small intestin for the mice of control group and its existing after anatomically

Abstract

Potential health and environmental effects of nanoparticles need to be thoroughly assessed before their widespread commercialization.The present investigation was planned with the aims to determine the effects of gold nanoparticles (GNPs) onblast (BI) and mitotic (MI) indices of cultured lymphocytes. The results revealed that BI (50.3 ± 2.3, 30.2 ± 1.9, 10.5 ± 0.7 and0.0%, respectively) and MI (70.1 ± 2.9, 20.4 ± 1.1, 5.3 ± 0.1 and 0.0%, respectively) showed a gradual decreased percentageas the concentration of GNPs was increased from 0.085 to 0.66 μg/mL, and the difference was significant compared to controlculture (81.6 ± 2.5 and 90.2 ± 3.7%, respectively). A maximum inhibition of BI and MI was occurred at the concentration 0.66μg/mL. In conclusion, GNPs can be considered as a growth inhibiting agent, but it is too early to reach a final conclusion inthis regard and further investigations are required to elucidate the biochemical mechanisms involved in inhibiting the mitoticactivity of lymphocytes.

Abstract

This study was done to evaluation the empact of gold nanoparticles on two cancer cell lines in vitro, HeLa (human cervicle cancer cell line) and AMN3 (mammary adenocarcinoma), in addition to isolated lymphocytes from peripheral blood of healthy human as normal cells, at different concentrations and incubation period.Results shows that cancer cells more effected than normal cells, as well as AMN3 more effected than HeLa cell line, so the effect is related to cells type, concentration, incubation period and size of particles . The present study suggests that gold nanoparticles is a good candidate for medical application as anticancer and needs further studies.

أجريت هذه الدراسة لتقييم كفاءة دقائق الذهب النانوية على خطين من الخطوط الخلوية السرطانية النامية في الزجاج، خط خ يا سرطان عنق الرحم وخط خ يا سرطان الغدد اللبنية، اضافة الى عزل الخ يا اللمفاوية من الدم المحيطي شخاص اصحاء كخ يا طبيعية، وقات حضن وتراكيز مختلفة.أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة ان الخ يا السرطانية اكثر تأثرا من الخ يا الطبيعية وان خ يا سرطان الغدد اللبنية اكثر تأترا من خ يا سرطان عنق الرحم. وان هذا التأثير يتبع نوع الخ يا و التركيز ومدة الحضن وحجم الدقائق النانوية. تقترح هذه الدراسة ان دقائق الذهب النانوية مرشح جيد كتطبيق طبي ضد السرطان وتحتاج الى دراسات اضافية.
