The research aims to know the effect of the use of conceptmaps in the Achievement of the fifth grade students in thesubject of literary Arabic grammar in secondary school .The researcher was coined following null hypothesis :No statistically significant difference at (0.05) between theaverage scores of the experimental group students who arestudying Arabic grammar using concept maps snd the averagedegrees of control group students who are studying Arabicgrammar in the traditional method in the Achievement ofconcepts .To investigate objective of this research chose researcherdetmined experimentally with control part (experimental groupand a control group) and a test Uday . Chose researchersecondary school of Ali Ibn Abi Talib for Boys in the center ofMuqdadiya / Diyala province to conduct the experiment, and itincludes tow divisions for fifth grade literary, and choseresearcher Division (a) to represent the experimental grouptaught the Arabic grammar concept maps and Division (b)represent the control group, which is considering Arabicgrammar in the traditional method , and the number of studentsin the sample (64) students by (32) for each of the two groups .was conducted parity between students of the two sets of searchvariables (degrees Arabic for the previous year fourth literary2010-2011 and chronological age students measured in monthsand educational attainment of the parents ).The researcher taught students two groups of searchhimself relying content subject, which included (4) Topics ofArabic grammar book scheduled to be taught fifth grade aliterary (case – Excellence- adjective- kindness) for theacademic year 2011-2012 . The researcher preparing lessonplans for subjects experience in accordance with the conceptmaps and traditional method (inductive method) and coined thebehavioral objectives . The experiment lasted (6) weeks .Promising researcher test Theselaa be from (30) paragraphof multiple choice type has been characterized by honesty andfirmness after presentation to a group of experts and specialistsand account stability reapply the test, as well as an account(difficulty coefficient, the power of excellence, effectivealternatives wrong).The researcher used statistical methods (T.test, Chi square,Pearson correlation coefficient. Coefficient difficulty paragraph, and the strength of Excellence paragraph and effectivealternatives) in the analysis of the results has earned researcherthat there is a difference statistically significant between theaverage scores students the experimental group who arestudying Arabic grammar using maps concepts and the averagedegrees of control group students who are studying Arabicgrammar in the traditional method in the Achievement ofconcepts at (0.05) . favor of the experimental group in theAchievement of the concepts . The researcher recommended thatthe use of concept maps in teaching fifth grade literary , andsuggested conducting similar studies for this study in otherbranches or other stages of study or deal with other variables
