Abstract

Because of the great development which occurs in information and the security
way of transfer them on world wide web, (Internet) and because of the great interest in
keeping on the secret information that have transfer on this net, many methods are used to
hide the information such as hiding information inside a sound.
In this paper, a proposed technique is adopted using non serial first bits of the wav
format sound file to hide secret message according to a certain equation known by the sender
and the receiver.
This paper concludes the possibility of hiding different text in different sound media
like music, songs and others. Also, it is possible to make the cipher key variable by using a
specific function, this will increases the security of the system, but this requires sending the
specific function to the receiver in some way may be by embedding it in stego-image or
stego-video clip.

Abstract

The science of hiding information behind other cover media file is known steganography. Audio steganography means that a secret message is hidden by embedding it in an audio file. This paper presents a new audio steganography approach that is used the contourlet transform to hide a speech and image in an audio signal. The cover audio signal is modified to be suitable as input to contourlet transform and then secret data embed to the subbands of contourlet transform. The results showed high hiding capacity of data up to 90% of cover audio file size. In addition, performance analysis by measures factors: Normalized Correlation (NC), Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) appears good quality results for both stego and secret data.

Abstract

Stenography is the art of hiding the very presence of communication by embedding secret message into innocuous looking cover document, such as digital image, videos, sound files, and other computer files that contain perceptually irrelevant or redundant information as covers or carriers to hide secret messages.In this paper, a new Least Significant Bit (LSB) nonsequential embedding technique in wave audio files is introduced. To support the immunity of proposed hiding system, and in order to recover some weak aspect inherent with the pure implementation of stego-systems, some auxiliary processes were suggested and investigated including the use of hidden text jumping process and stream ciphering algorithm. Besides, the suggested system used self crypto-hiding pseudo random key generator. The auto-key generator has purposes to investigate the encryption and embedding processes .The hiding results shows no noise in the stego-wave file after embedding process, also no difference in size is found between the original wave audio file and stego-wave file.

علم الاخفاء هو فن اخفاء كل ماهو مهم باستخدام الاتصالات بواسطة اغمار الرسالة السرية في وثيقة غطاء عادية، كالصور الرقمية، المرئية، ملفات الصوت وغيرها من ملفات الحاسوب ذات المعلومات المتكررة تستخدم كاغطية او حوامل لاخفاء المعلومات السرية. في هذا البحث، تم اقتراح نظام اخفاء غير متسلسل باستخدام تقنية الاغمار بالثنائي الاقل اهمية(LBS) بالاعتماد على ملفات صوتية من نوع (wav). ولزيادة درجة الامنية لنظام الاخفاء المقترح، و للقضاء على نقاط الضعف باستخدام تلك التقنية، تم اقتراح وتحقيق بعض العمليات المساعدة ومنها استخدام عملية القفز بالنص المخفي بالاضافة الى استخدام خوارزمية التشفير الانسيابي واقتراح استخدام نظام تشفير-اخفاء باستخدام مولد عشوائي ذاتي. هذا المولد الذاتي يعمل لتحقيق غرضين هما عمليات التشفير والتضمين. اظهرت النتائج انه لايمكن ان تسمع ضوضاء في ملفات الصوت المخفيه (stego) بعد عملية التضمين، كذلك لايوجد اختلاف بين ملف الصوت الاصلي وملف الصوت المخفي (stego) من حيث الحجم.

Abstract

This research focus on using wavelet method for hiding secret data in the audio signal. The audio signal is transformed to frequency domain by using Haar wavelet transform. The wavelet coefficients are utilizied to host secret data with exact retrieval capability. For embedding process the magnitude modulation mechanism was applied. The introduced method makes checking for extracted hidden data to be sure that the host block can hold secret data, and can exactly reproduce the hidden data. The performance of hiding method was tested using the fidelity measures Mean Square Error (MSE), and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) to describe the overall error rate. Hiding rate was computed to asses the embedding power of this method. The test results indicated that the proposed system can give maximum hiding rate which is %5.10 when the value of threshold is 6, quantization step is 8 and block size is 16. The maximum PSNR is 42.94 when the block size value is 16, threshold value is 6, quantization step is 2, and don’t make subjective deterioration in quality of audio

يهدف البحث إلى استخدام طريقة التحويل المويجي لإخفاء بيانات سرية في الإشارة الصوتية. في البدء الإشارة السمعية تحول إلى المدى الترددي باستخدام تحويل المويجي هار. المعاملات المويجية استخدمت لإخفاء البيانات السرية مع مقدرة استرجاعها بشكل كامل. في عملية الإخفاء استخدمنا آلية تضمين القيمة. في هذه الطريقة عملنا اختبار على البيانات المخفية للتأكد إذا ما كان هذا المقطع يحوي على بيانات سرية أم لا، وإمكانية استرجاعها بشكل كامل. في النهاية تم اختبار أداء طريقة الإخفاء باستعمال مقاييس الدقة، متوسط مربع الخطأ (MSE) ونسبة الإشارة إلى الضوضاء (PSNR) لتحديد نسبة الخطأ وتم استخدام نسبة الإخفاء لتقييم قوة الإخفاء. نتائج الاختبار حددت أعلى قيمة متحققة لنسبة الإخفاء هي 5.1% عندما كانت قيمة threshold هي 6 وقيمة quantization step هي 8 وحجم المقطع هو 16. وأعلى PSNR هو 42.94 مع حجم مقطع 16 وقيمة threshold هي 6 وquantization step هي 2.

Abstract

Data transmission in public communication system is not safe since of interception and improper manipulation by attacker. So, the attractive solution for these problems is to design high secure system that reduce the ability of attacker from getting sensitive information such as (account ID, passwords, etc.). The best way is combine two high secure techniques: steganography technique, which is the method of hiding any secret information like data, password and image behind any cover file and cryptography, which is convert the data to unreadable data. This paper suggests a crypto-stego authentication method to provide a highly secured authentication. The proposed method is utilized audio steganography and AES Cryptography. The authentication key (password) is spilt to two parts, the first half is used as input text to stego-crypto process while the second half used as crypto key. The crypto key is encrypted using HMAC-SHA256 hash algorithm and sent to server while the second half has encrypted with AES that ciphered with random xor cipher algorithm then embedding in wave audio by used Least Significant Bit (LSB) algorithm then streamed to server. This method can trick the attacker to focused on hashed value that appears with streaming data while the part of key hided within the cover file.

Abstract

Steganography is the practice of encoding secret information in indiscernible way. Audio Steganography is a technique used to transmit hidden information by modifying an audio signal in an imperceptible manner. It is mainly required for increasing security in transferring and archiving of audio files. Steganography complements rather than replaces encryption by adding another layer of security- it is much more difficult to decrypt a message if it is not known that there is a message. The basic idea of the paper is hide information in cover audio by using linear feedback shift registers LFSR with the Least Significant Bit (LSB) coding to hide data for it and the proposed method hiding data in audio signals using LFSR to select any LSB of audio signals. this proposed method has more security than classical methods because the analysis didn't know any vector used for hide data and proposed method has low noise audio signals than classical method because less number of LSB used for hide data ,the proposed method was applied on two experimental for hiding data and extracting the embedded data in audio signals and applied the noise tests mean squared error (MSE) and Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) on it .

Abstract

The main objective idea of the proposed technique is that the matrix of wave audio file reshape by using Mat lab program tools in order to change sound format (matrix in one dimension) to image format (matrix in two dimension), the result audio color image become the cover or host signal in which the data can be securely hidden within its components (Red, Green, Blue).The secret message (image, sound, text) hide by using traditional method for steganography art in spatial domain called least significant-bit (LSB). the benefit of this technique in our work is to hide secret color image within audio color image, to increase security degree in this technique the cover sound converted to image and secret message converted to sound (from image 8 bit format to sound 8 bit format), the result sound has been encrypted by using secret Chaotic key generation (CKG) and then the result numbers convert to binary numbers the one dimension logistic maps are used as chaotic key generation, the first three bits of each number have been hiding inside red component of audio color image, the second three bits of each number have been hiding inside green component of audio color image and the last two bits have been hiding inside blue component of audio color image.The proposed methods offer high quality of steganography process in terms of SNR (signal to noise ratio), MSE (mean square error) and correlation measure (Correlation). Only minor changes in the contents of the audio file occur, which are undetectable to human auditory system (HAS).

Abstract

In this paper, an enhancement of LSB audio steganography is presented. This enhancement is based on the mathematical foundations of the magic cube and magic square. Magic cube is a branch of mathematical combinatorics. It is one of the different arrays in magic number arrangements. The proposed technique focuses on normal magic cubes of order (3, 4, … n). The values inside the designed magic cube are used as an index to audio cover locations. These scrambled locations (according to the keys of the magic cube) in the audio cover are used to (LSB) embed secret text message. In order to increase the security of the proposed system, the starting number, the difference value, the dimension, and the values inside the magic cube are kept as a secret key. The NIST package is successfully used to test the randomness of the magic cube's keys values. The PSNR values of audio stego-covers are (62.65743352-79.57336476) dB in which the size of secret text message (256-16) bits.

في هذا البحث، تم تقديم تحسين لاخفاء الصوت بالبت الأقل اهمية. هذا التحسين يعتمد على الاسس الرياضية للمكعب السحري. المكعب السحري هو فرع من الرياضيات التوافيقية. وهو واحد من المصفوفات المختلفة في ترتيبات الأرقام السحرية. تركز التقنية المقترحة على المكعبات السحرية العادية من الترتيب (3 ، 4 ، ...n). تستخدم القيم الموجودة داخل المكعب السحري المصمم كفهرس لمواقع الغطاء الصوتي. تستخدم هذه المواقع المبعثرة (وفقًا لمفاتيح المكعب السحري) في الغلاف الصوتي المستخدم لتضمين الرسالة النصية السرية. من أجل زيادة أمنية النظام المقترح ،حيث يتم الاحتفاظ برقم البداية وقيمة الفرق والأبعاد والقيم داخل المكعب السحري كمفتاح سري. تم استخدام الاختبارات العشوائية (NIST) بنجاح لاختبار عشوائية قيم مفاتيح المكعب السحري. نسبة قمة الاشارة الى الضوضاء في الغطاء الصوتي المضمن الرسالة السرية هو (62.6574-79.5733 ) dB بينما حجم الرسالة النصية (16-256 ) بت.
