Protection of digital multimedia content has become an increasingly important issue for content owners and service providers. Watermarking is identified as a major means to achieve copyright protection. The algorithm proposed in this work, is to use a blind watermarking scheme based on the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Watermark components are embedded in the LL subband of the 4th DWT level of the host image by quantizing coefficients of the LL subband to improve the watermark robustness. The Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used for optimizing the quantization step size parameter, and the strength of factors. The host image used is a 512×512 gray scale image and the watermark image is a 32×32 binary logo. The proposed scheme was tested against mostly known threats and it proves to give good robustness. Also, it still gives a high quality watermarked image. MATLAB Program was used to perform the watermarking task.

تكتسب حماية المحتوى للوسائط الرقمية المتعددة أهمية متزايدة لأصحاب الملكية لهذه الوسائط ولمزودي الخدمة. يعتبر إضافة الصورة المائية احد الوسائل الأساسية للحصول على حماية حقوق التصرف. اقترحت في هذا العمل لاستخدام مخطط العلامة المائية العمياء مستندة على التحويل المويجي المتقطع (الرقمي) .DWT مكونات العلامة المائية (الصورة) أضيفت إلى حزمة الترددات الواطئة في المستوى الرابع من DWT للصورة الغطاء بواسطة تكميم معاملات حزمة الترددات الواطئة لتحسين مقاومة العلامة المائية. تم استخدام الخوارزمية الجينية لتحسين معامل حجم خطوة التكميم وعوامل القوة. صور المضيف المستعملة هي صور ذات تدرج رمادي 512×512 وصورة العلامة المائية هي شعار ثنائي 32×32. تم اختبار الطريقة بتعريض الصورة المحمية لمختلف التهديدات المتعارف عليها وأعطت مقاومة جيدة لها مع التمتع بجودة عالية دون اثر للصورة المائية. استخدم برنامج MATLAB كوسيلة لإدخال واسترجاع العلامة المائية.

The selection of the three coefficients of proportional-integral (PID) controllers (Ki, Kp, and Kd) is basically a search problem in a three-dimensional space. This is so because points in the search space correspond to different selections of a PID controller’s three parameters. By choosing different points of parameter space, we can produce, for example, different step responses for a step input. A PID controller can be determined by moving in this search space on trial-and-error basis. The main problem in the selection of the three coefficients is that these coefficients do not readily translate into the desired performance and robustness characteristics that the control system designer has in mind. Several rules and methods using root locus and performance indices. The first design uses the Integral of Time multiplied by Absolute Error (ITAE) performance index. Hence we select the three PID coefficients (Ki, Kp, and Kd) to minimize the ITAE performance index, which produces a good transient response to a step input. Our paper uses the Genetic Algorithm (GA). In this method the selection of the three PID coefficients depends on the minimization of the Mean Squared Error (MSE), which will produce an excellent transient response to a step input.

إنّ إختيارَ المعاملات الثلاثة (Ki, Kp, Kd ) الخاصة بالمسيطرات التفاضلية-التكاملية (PID) أساساً هي مشكلة بحثِ في فضاء ثلاثي الأبعاد. وهذه المشكلة هي بسبب تُقابلُ النقاطُ في فضاءِ البحثَ لاختيارات مختلفة لمعاملات المسيطر الثلاثَ. بإخْتياَر نقاط مختلفة مِنْ فضاءِ المعاملاتِ يُمْكِنُ أَنْ نُنتجَ، على سبيل المثال، استجابة نظام لمدخل دالة خطوية. يمكن للمسيطر التفاضلي-التكاملي أَنْ يُقرّرَ بالإنتقال في فضاءِ البحثِ هذا بالاعتماد على قاعدةِ التجربة والخطأَ. إنّ المشكلةَ الرئيسيةَ في إختيارِ المعاملاتِ الثلاثة بأنّ المعاملاتِ لا تُترجمُ الأداءِ المطلوبِ بسهولة وكذلك فهي لا تعبرعن منظومة السيطرة التي هي في عقل المصمم. عِدّة قواعد وطرق اَستعملت اعتمدت في عملها على نظريتين (root locus و (Performance indices. اَستعملُ التصميمُ الأولُ معامل مكاملة مضاعفة زمن الخطأ المطلق (ITAE). لذا فبحسب هذه النظرية سيتم اختيار المعاملات الثلاث لتقليل معامل (ITAE) مما يعطي استجابة جيدة لمدخل الدالة الخطوية. يَستعملُ تصميمُنا الخوارزميةَ الوراثيةَ (GA). في هذه الطريقةِ، يَعتمدُ إختيارُ معاملاتِ المسيطر الثلاث على تحقيق حدّ أدنى لمعدل مربع الخطأ (MSE) مما سَيُنتجُ عنه استجابة مثلى لمدخل الدالة الخطوية.

Bureen cultivar of potato class A was planted during Autumn season 2009 , in loam soil at the right bank of Euphrates in Ramadi ,to study the effect of soaking tubers before planting in Gibberellic acid 5ppm and liquorice extract 5g/l on promoting sprouting . In addition , the effect of once ,twice or thrice foliar application of liquorice extract 5g/l on vegetative growth and yield of potato was studied and compared with untreated control plants . Randomized complete block design RCBD arranged in split-plot with three replicates for each treatment was adapted . Gibberellic acid significantly hastened field emergence of sprouts and gave the best germination percentage . higher means of plant length , stems number per plant , potassium content in leaves were found when potato tubers were soaked in gibbrellic acid . Soaking in liquorice extract , increased drymatter and starch in tubers. Soaking treatments had no significant effect on vegetative dry weight , tubers number per plant and nitrogen and protein percentages in tubers . Foliar application of liqiuorice extract significantly increased plant length , dry weight of plant , potassium content in leaves ,and nitrogen and protein percentages in tubers . In addition , it gave higher means of total and marketable yield for all treatments compared with control . Foliar application had no significant effect on stems/plant , marketable tubers/plant , tuber mean weight and percentages of dry matter and starch in tubers during growth season . The inter action between treatments was significantly only for potassium content in leaves and nitrogen and protein percentages in tubers .

زرع صنف البطاطا ( بورين ) رتبة A في العروة الخريفية عام 2009 ، في تربة مزيجية loam على الضفة اليمنى لنهر الفرات في مدينة الرمادي ، لدراسة تأثير تغطيس الدرنات قبل الزراعة بمحلول الجبرلين بتركيز 5 جزء بالمليون ومستخلص عرق السوس بتركيز 5 غم / لتر في تحفيز نمو البراعم وإنباتها مقارنة بعدم المعاملة بهما . ولدراسة تأثير الرش بمستخلص عرق السوس بتركيز 5 غم / لتر على المجموع الخضري ( رشة واحدة – رشتان – ثلاث رشات ) مقارنة بعدم الرش في نمو وإنتاجية البطاطا . وضعت العوامل ( 3 معاملات تغطيس× 4 معاملات رش) ضمن تصميم القطاعات الكاملة المعشاة في ترتيب الألواح المنشقة وبثلاثة مكررات قد اعتمد . اثر الجبرلين معنويا في تسريع البزوغ الحقلي وإعطائه أفضل نسبة إنبات وتفوق في إعطاء أعلى معدل لطول النبات ، عدد السيقان الرئيسة/نبات ونسبة البوتاسيوم في الأوراق ولم يختلف مع معاملة المقارنة معنويا في صفتي الحاصل الكلي والحاصل القابل للتسويق مع تفوق معاملة المقارنة في معدل وزن الدرنة . بينما تفوقت معاملة تغطيس الدرنات بمستخلص عرق السوس في زيادة نسبة المادة الجافة والنشا في الدرنات في حين لم يكن هناك تأثير معنوي لمعاملات التغطيس في الوزن الجاف للمجموع الخضري وعدد الدرنات في النبات ونسبة النتروجين والبروتين في الدرنات. كما اثر الرش بمستخلص عرق السوس على المجموع الخضري معنويا في زيادة طول النبات ، وزن النبات الجاف , نسبة البوتاسيوم في الأوراق ، نسبة النتروجين والبروتين في الدرنات وكذلك أعطى أعلى معدل لحاصل البطاطا الكلي والحاصل القابل للتسويق لجميع معاملات الرش التي لم تختلف فيما بينها معنويا في هذه الصفات مقارنة بعدم الرش . ولم يظهر لعملية الرش تأثير معنوي في عدد السيقان الرئيسة/نبات ، عدد الدرنات القابلة للتسويق ، معدل وزن الدرنة ونسبة المادة الجافة والنشا في الدرنات خلال موسم النمو. وكان للتداخل تأثير معنوي في نسبة البوتاسيوم في الأوراق ونسبة النتروجين والبروتين في الدرنات فقط.

This paper presents a simulation and hardware implementation of a closed loop control of a separately excited D.C. motor using a self-tuning PID controller. The PID controller design is based on using the Field Programmable Analog Array (FPAA) technology. Parameters tuning of the PID controller is achieved by using the genetic algorithm (GA). The FPAA controller based technology gives the advantage of low power, no quantization noise, high bandwidth and high speed response. The practical results show that a self-tuning controller can outperform a hand-tuned solution and demonstrate adaptability to plant drift; also it gives very acceptable results in the reduction of overshoot, stability time and the steady-state transient response of the controlled plant

يعرض هذا البحث تحليلا وتطبيقا عمليا للسيطرة المغلقة على محرك تيار مستمر ذو الاثارة المنفصلة بأستخدام مسيطر تناسبي-تكاملي-تفاضلي (PID) ذو التوليف الذاتي. ان تصميم المسيطر (PID) مبني على مبدا استخدام تقنية بوابة المصفوفات التناظرية المبرمجة حقليا (FPAA). وان عملية توليف قيم الثوابت للمسيطر (PID) يمكن تحقيقها باستخدام الخوارزمية الجينية (GA). ان التقنيات المبنية على استخدام المسيطرات التناظرية (FPAA) لها ميزات من حيث قلة استهلاكها للطاقة, قليلة الضوضاء, سعة عرض الحزمة, سرعة استجابة عالية. تبين النتائج العملية بان التوليف الذاتي يمكن ان يحل مسالة التوليف اليدوي ويبين قابليته العالية لاحتواء اي انجراف او انحراف لمنظومة العمل عن عملها الصحيح, وكذلك يعطي نتائج مقبولة جدا من حيث القفزة, زمن الاستقرار, استجابة الحالة العابرة لمنظومة السيطرة.

Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) are used in many application areas such as industrial and civilian. Sensors will be shared by multiple applications to collect several types of data. Not all data be equivalence in the important, some data may be more important than other so loss this data may cause problems . Packet losses and retransmissions resulting from congestion and cause loss important data and decrease the lifetime of sensor nodes. This problem need for control to reduce the loss data, energy consuming and etc. The main aim of this paper is to discuss how can use genetic algorithm(GA) to optimize the parameters that can affect on congestion in WSN and then evaluate the performance of network used AODV,DSDV,DSR and NOAH routing protocols by using NS-2 simulator.

تستخدم المتحسسات اللاسلكية اليوم في عدة تطبيقات مثل التطبيقات الصناعية و المدنية وغيرها. يشارك المتحسس بعدة تطبيقات لتجميع عدة أنواع من البيانات. ليس كل أنواع البيانات بنفس الأهمية بعض البيانات تكون أكثر أهمية من الأخرى لذلك فقدان هذه البيانات يسبب مشاكل . فقدان البيانات وإعادة الإرسال ناتج عن الازدحام ويسبب فقدان بيانات مهمة وتقليل عمر عقدة المتحسس. هذه المشكلة تحتاج إلى سيطرة لتقليل فقدان البيانات , استهلاك الطاقة وغيرها.الهدف الرئيسي لهذا البحث هو كيف يمكن تكيف عمل الخوارزمية الجينية للحصول على أفضل قيم للمعاملات التي تؤثر في الازدحام في الشبكات المتحسسات اللاسلكية ومن ثم تقيم عمل ألشبكه للبروتوكولات AODV, DSDV,DSR و NOAH باستخدام محاكي الشبكات NS-2.
