Abstract

The rapid spread and the easy availability of a free e-mail service have made it the medium of choice for the sending of unsolicited advertising and bulk e-mail in general. These messages, known as junk e-mail or spam mail, are an increasing problem to both Internet users and Internet service providers (ISPs).
The research resolves one aspect of the spam problem by developing an appropriate filter for the e-mail client. The proposed filter is a combination of three forms of filters: Whitelist, Blacklist, and a Bayesian filter. Whitelist-based filter only accepts e-mails from known addresses. Blacklist filter blocks e-mails from addresses known to send out spam. Bayesian content-based filter makes estimations of spam probability based on the text and filters messages based on a pre-selected threshold.
The Bayesian filter is selected to be the main filter. The Bayesian filter is manually trained on a set of gathered e-mails; some of them are spam and the others are legitimate based on the contents of an e-mail. Thereafter the classification phase has been implemented for new entered e-mails. All the required databases are constructed in form of tables stored in the Structured Query Language (SQL) server. The filter at the client side can transparently access the database in order to carry on the intended filtering. The proposed system (e-mail client interface and the filters) can manage messages written in both Arabic and English languages which is crucial for the users in our region.
Software engineering principals are implemented throughout the design process to make the system less vulnerable to faults and easily maintained. The design steps have followed the Waterfall-model using the ASCENT software. A user-friendly interface has been developed to access the features of the spam filter at the client side. Visual Basic version 6 has been used to develop the system. As well, the SQL server has been implemented to build and process the database.
A number of performance measurements have been carried out with asset of gathered e-mails. The results are used to evaluate the performance of the filter and to prove its efficiency.

الانتشار االسريع و توفر السهل لخدمة البريد الاكتروني المجاني جعلا منه وسطا مختارا لارسال بريد الاعلانات الغير مرغوبة و بريد الدعاية بشكل عام. هذه الرسائلـ، والمعروفة بالبريد التافه او (spam) مشكلة متزايدة لكل من المستعملين و مزودي خدمة الانترنت (ISP). يقدم البحث حلا لاحدى جوانب مشكلة رسائل الدعاية (spam) من خلال تطوير مرشح ملائم لبريد المستفيد (e-mail client). المرشح المقترح يتكون من ثلاثة اجزاء تعمل معا: القائمة البيضاء (Whitelist)، القائمة السوداء (Blacklist)، و مرشح Bayesian. يسمح مرشح القائمة البيضاء باستقبال الرسائل البريدية من عناوين معروفة للمستفيد. بينما يمنع مرشح القائمة السوداء استقبال الرسائل البريدية من عناوين عرفت بارسالها لرسائل الدعاية. يعتمد مرشح Bayesian في تقديراته على محتوى الرسائل ويرشح هذه الرسائل نسبة ال معيار (threshold) محدد سلفا. تم بناء قواعد البيانات المطلوبة بشكل جداول تخزن في خادم ال SQL. المرشح المقترح للمستفيد يمكن ان يصل الى قواعد البيانات هذه بشكل شفاف لكي يتمكن من تنفيذ الترشيح المطلوب. النظام المقترح يتعامل مع رسائل الدعاية التي تكتب في كلتا اللغتين العربية و الانكليزية و الذي يعتبر امرا هاما للمستفيدين في منطقتنا.تم اعتماد مبادئ هندسة البرامجيات خلال تصميم النظام مما يجعل النظام اقل عرضة للاخطاء وادامته اسهل. خطوات التصميم نفذت باستحدام نموذج Waterfall وبرامجيات ASCENT. تم تطوير واجهة للمستفيد سهلة الاستخدام للحصول على مزايا المرشح المقترح. تم استخدام بيئة Visual Basic 6 لبناء النظام كما استخدم SQL Server لبناء وتنفيذ قواعد البيانات المطلوبة.تم استخدام عدد من مقاييس الاداء و استحصال النتائج التجريبية مع مجموعة من البريد المجموع لتقييم الاداء للمرشح المقترح واثبات كفائته.

Abstract

Information and communication technologies are witnessing tremendous developments in today's world. Which allowed many institutions and departments to adopt ICT in their administrative work. This research discusses the designing of an Electronic Archiving System Based on the Computer Network by using (Visual C #.NET) language and the development of a central database by using (SQL Server 2008). The Ninewa Health bureau has been chosen as a model for completion of the study. To address the problem of the traditional reality experienced by the institutions and departments of the state in Iraq, based on the limited use of information technology, while electronic archiving systems that have become the basic method in the institutions of developed countries. This system works on converting paper documents and attachments into an electronic format, and saving them in the database within indexed records according to the document number or book. The system also provides an integrated tool for the managing mail, and workflow, as well as the preparation of reports, and great flexibility in the management of system database (backup, update of administrative units as per the applicable structure of the bureau concerned), managing user accounts and granting them access permission. The study has showed that the electronic archiving system has a positive impact in the fields of administrative works, through facilitating the process of archiving and saving of documents and official correspondence book to provide office spaces consumed in the storage of paper files. As well as reduce the time and effort spent in the search for files. and the ease of exchanging documents through a local network by the adoption of the (client / server) model to connect the sections of the bureau with each other for integrated with the electronic archiving system. The study aims to strengthen the role of archiving to launch the e-government project by improving and simplifying official transactions procedures. Last but not least the research dealt with a theoretical framework on the archiving (concept, components, types), as well as the practical aspect of the analysis and design of the system and explain how it works. Finally, this research succeed in designing the system, and the system has been tested on real data represented by models of books and official documents in the bureau of Health Nineveh..

تشهد تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات تطورات هائلة في ظل عالمنا المعاصر التي أتاحت الفرصة أمام الكثير من المؤسسات والإدارات لأعتماد تلك التقانات في عملها الإداري.تناول هذا البحث تصميم نظام أرشفة الكتروني مستند على شبكة الحاسوب باستخدام لغة (Visual C#.NET)، وبناء قاعدة بيانات مركزية باستخدام نظام (SQL SERVER 2008). واختيرت دائرة صحة نينوى أنموذج لإنجاز الدراسة، لمواجهة مشكلة الواقع التقليدي الذي تعيشه مؤسسات الدولة في العراق ودوائرها، القائمة على الاستخدام المحدود لتكنلوجيا المعلومات، في حين أن نظم الأرشفة الالكترونية التي أصبحت هي الأسلوب الأساس في مؤسسات الدول المتقدمة. يعمل هذا النظام على تحويل الوثائق الورقية ومرفقاتها ألى صيغة الكترونية وحفظها في قاعدة البيانات ضمن سجلات مفهرسة حسب رقم الوثيقة أو الكتاب. كما يوفر أداة متكاملة لإدارة البريد ومتابعة سير العمل، فضلاً عن إعداد التقارير، والمرونة الكبيرة في إدارة قواعد بيانات النظام (النسخ الاحتياطي، تحديث الوحدات الإدارية على وفق الهيكلية المعمول بها في الدائرة المعنية)، وإدارة حسابات المستخدمين ومنحهم صلاحية الوصول. وأظهرت الدراسة أن نظام الأرشفة الإلكتروني له تأثير إيجابي في مجالات الأعمال الإدارية، بتسهيل عملية أرشفة وحفظ الوثائق وكتب المخاطبات الرسمية لتقليل الوقت والجهد المبذول في عملية البحث عن الملفات. وسهولة تبادل الوثائق عن طريق شبكة محلية باعتماد أنموذج (Client/Server) لربط أقسام الدائرة مع بعضها بالتكامل مع نظام الأرشفة الالكتروني. وتهدف الدراسة إلى تعزيز دور الأرشفة للانطلاق في مشروع الحكومة الالكترونية بتحسين إجراءات المعاملات الرسمية وتبسيطها.وقد حقق هذا البحث نجاحاً في تصميم النظام، واختُبر النظام على بيانات حقيقية ممثلة بنماذج من الكتب والوثائق الرسمية في دائرة صحة نينوى.

Abstract

The search aimed to design a health information system in the Ninawa Health Directorate and its affiliated hospitals by analyzing the reality and providing the requirements of design, and then adopting the applications of the health information system of the surveyed organization. The search is an attempt to design a wireless network at the level of the city of Mosul linking the Presidency of Health with other health organizations selected within the city and its periphery.The design has been remarkably successful. The researchers used a set of software tools used in the global business companies with critical business, including the database management system SQL SERVER 2008 as it has many of the capabilities in the field of database management and other programming supplies such ASP.NET. The search showed that the health information system has a positive impact to the areas of business and medical management. The study also showed that there are constraints limiting the possibility of establishing a health information system in an integrated manner including: the weakness of the required funds, and weaknesses in the overall planning of e-health applications,

يهدف البحث إلى تصميم نظام المعلومات الصحي المحوسب في دائرة صحة نينوى وبعض المستشفيات التابعة لها اداريا كونها متخصصة وعامة (كبيرة الحجم ) , عن طريق تحليل الواقع ِوتوفير مستلزمات التصميم المتعددة وبالتالي اعتماد تطبيقات نظام المعلومات الصحي للمنظمة المبحوثة في الواقع العملي، كذلك يسعى البحث إلى تصميم شبكة اتصال لاسلكية على مستوى مدينة الموصل تربط رئاسة الصحة مع باقي المنظمات الصحية المختارة ضمن المدينة والأطراف المترامية لها, اذ تم تحقيق نجاحاً ملحوظاً في ذلك . اعتمد الباحثان على مجموعة من الأدوات البرمجية المستخدمة في الشركات ذات الأعمال الحساسة وخصوصا في التداولات المالية ومنها نظام إدارة قاعدة البياناتSQL SERVER 2008 إذ يتمتع بالعديد من القدرات في مجال إدارة قاعدة البيانات فضلا عن واجهات التعامل مع المستفيد ASP.NET وغيرها من المستلزمات البرمجية.

Abstract

The health sensor is one of the technologies of the Wireless Sensor Network for Medical (WSNFM), which has a wide range of sensors that can be used to check a person’s health data. In this work, a health sensor system is used to monitor a patient inside the ambulance along the way to the emergency department at a hospital. The system sends the vital readings to the emergency department using web based application and then save them in the server database. Two main types of sensors are used which are: body temperature and pulse rate sensors. The proposed system includes three main parts: hardware components at the ambulance, website, and SQL server at the hospital. The website is designed using ASP.net and PHP environments, while the database at the hospital is built utilizing SQL server 2012 in addition to visual studio C# for graphical User Interfacing (GUI). Simply, the readings of sensors are transferred from the ambulance using the internet throughout a website to the SQL server at hospital. The achieved results show a superior performance of the presented system in obtaining the designed target as well as high accuracy and efficiency.

Abstract

Forensic dentistry is an important branch of the forensic science. It is based on the dental characteristic. This method uses the dental features as a biometric tool to identify persons, who their bodies have been affected badly. In the other meaning, the dental biometrics are considered at the absence of tools, such as, DNA, fingerprint, iris etc. for different reasons. This paper presented a biometric system for forensic human identification based on dental X-ray. The aim of this system is to build a database, which contain ante-mortem dental radiograph features (AM), used later for matching with the post-mortem dental radiograph features (PM). These features are Standard Deviation (STD), Euler number and Area extracted from X-ray image of type bite-wing. The investigated X-Ray image goes through three stages algorithm which are: image segmentation, classification and features extraction. The obtained features represents the records of the system database for each tooth individually in distinct person. The proposed system utilizes the Graphical User Interface (GUI) provided from the Visual Studio with the usage of MATLAB software for feature extraction and the SQL Server 2012 environment for database building. The Achieved results show the outperformance of the proposed system in terms of matching and searching accuracy as well as the finding time. In addition the editing and insertion processes are performed in high accuracy and efficiency.

Abstract

The agriculture is vulnerable and sensitive to climate changes. These changes reduce the production while encouraging the growth of bush, which lead to water consumption extravagantly. In this paper, we proposed an automatic drip irrigation system based on calculating the required crop water and irrigation depth. The aim of the proposed system is to automatically compute irrigation scheduling of certain crop according to a crop type and climatological conditions. This system includes two parts: hardware and control center. The sensors send their real-time readings of the soil moisture and climatic information to the monitoring part of the system wirelessly and then save them in database server. The hardware part consists of a main unit represented by ARDUINO Uno and sensors of soil moisture and DHT11. The wireless communication link between the hardware and control center parts are covered using Bluetooth HC-06. In the control center, the database is built using SQL server 2015 and the related Graphical User Interface (GUI) frames is designed using Visual Studio C#. The proposed system has been presented in a prototype to represent the case study and the obtained results show a clear reduction of power and water consumption.

Abstract

Generally, the electronic technology has beenimplemented to automate the traditional systems. So, differentcopy of management systems in different scope were presented.These systems include the services provided to company as wellas people, such as, healthcare. The traditional datamanagement systems for pharmacy as example, suffer fromthe capacity, time consuming, medicines accessibility,managing the medicines store as well as the need of qualifiedstaff according to the requirements of employer expectations.In this paper, a hospital e-pharmacy system is proposed inorder to facilitate the job, outdo the mentioned problems. Adata management system to the Iraqi hospital's pharmacy isproposed which is divided into two main parts: database, andGraphical User Interface (GUI) frames. The database builtusing SQL Server contains the pharmacy information relatedto the medicines, patient information….etc. the GUI framesease the use of the proposed system by unskilled users. Theproposal system is responsible on monitoring and controllingthe work of pharmacy in hospital in terms of management ofmedicine issuing ordering and hospital reports..

Abstract

At this paper we designed and described the work of a program to record the absence of students electronically where the program was designed by using the languages of ASP.NET + C # to design the Web pages and Sql Server to link databases, the design of the interfaces is easy and clear to users, and the program was uploaded on the site of the College and to reach that through the web at any time. This technique used to record absences allows teachers to easily and quickly record absenteeism and provide management with reports and absenteeism. The student or his guardian can see the number of absences days by accessing the college site where the program is available.

في هذا البحث تم تصميم ووصف عمل برنامج لتسجيل غيابات الطلبة الكترونيا حيث تم تصميم هذا البرنامج باستخدام لغة ASP.NET + C# لتصميم صفحات الوب و Sql Server لربط قواعد البيانات , يتميز التصميم للواجهات بالسهولة والوضوح للمستخدمين , وتم رفع البرنامج على موقع الكلية ليتم الوصول الية عن طريق الشبكة العنكبوتية في اي وقت .هذه التقنية المستخدمة لتسجيل الغيابات تتيح للتدريسيين السهولة والسرعة في تسجيل الغيابات وكذلك تزود الادارة بالتقارير وعدد الغائبين من غير جهد, كذلك يمكن للطالب او ولي امره ان يطلع على عدد غياباته عن طريق الولوج الى موقع الكلية حيث البرنامج موجود وبكل سهولة.
