Abstract

In this paper, the user mobility and prediction were designed and implemented for green cellular network to save power consumption by controlling the status of basestation (on or off) depending on the availability of users. Random way point and Levy methods were used to model the individual movement of user , while geographical dependence method was used to model the relative movement (depending on the cell). In prediction side, Polynomial method gives accurate predictions and fast computation time. Predicted velocity, direction and location of a user will help the basestation to make a decision for next time slot and take a chance to stay more in a sleep mode to save more energy. Geographical information is added to tell the user about the constraints and correct the direction of motion in different areas.In simulation, the number of overall cells is 126, cells_used (ON-state) is 68, cells did not use (OFF-state) is 58. The saving in using the cells is %53.96.

في هذا البحث تم تصميم وتمثيل كيفية حركة المستخدم والتنبؤ في موقعه القادم في الشبكة الخلوية الخضراء لتوفير استهلاك الطاقة عن طريق التحكم في وضع المحطة أو برج الاتصال (تشغيل أو إيقاف) اعتمادا على تواجد المستخدمين فيها.واستخدمت أساليب الطريقة العشوائية وطريقة ليفي لنموذج الحركة الفردية للمستخدم، في حين او الإيقاف وأخذ فرصة للبقاء أكثر في وضع السكون لتوفير المزيد من الطاقة. ويتم إضافة معلومات عن جغرافية الموقع والخرائط لاخبارالمستخدم حول المعوقات وتصحيح اتجاه الحركة في مختلف المجالات إذا لزم الأمر.في المحاكاة، كان عدد الخلايا الإجمالية هو 126، عدد الخلايا المستعملة والمشغلة هو 68بينما عدد الخلايا التي لم تستخدم هو58. التوفير الناتج في استخدام الخلايا هو53.96 ٪.

Abstract

One of the most exciting areas in telecommunications and networking is wireless technology. The rapid growth of mobile telephone uses various satellite services. So, the present work deals with high data stream applications of Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB), which takes an important place in the studies and development researches due to its direct contacts on the human daily life. In this design the focusing is on the modern types of DVB where modified module of the Terrestrial DVB for Handheld terminals (DVB-H) is used and it was simulated to perform the physical layer of the designed system. Different modes of DVB-H with high bit rate of Orthogonal Frequency Division multiplexing (OFDM) and high number of sub-carriers are considered to show the effect of Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division multiplexing (COFDM) on the system SNR using the convolutional encoding. The modes are tested to show the characteristics of each type involving BER calculation. The obtained results show the effect of OFDM in the designed system by evaluating it using AWGN and mobile multipath channels. These demonstrate the effective of OFDM over single carrier systems where the complexity and cost of implementation are both increaseed by increasing number of carrier. The elimination of ISI is achieved using efficient coding techniques with small guard time. The 4k mode shows good performance in mobile reception, providing satisfactory and reasonable receiver cost/complexity. The Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) measurement of the reconstructed received image pixels provides more mentality and good comparing method than the BER measuring. The obtained results are compared between the PSNR of each reconstructed images for different modes with the corresponding transmitting SNR.

يتناول هذا البحث دراسة موسومة للبث الفديوي الرقمي (DVB) الذي احتل مكانة مهمة في الدراسات والابحاث التطويرية لاتصاله بحياة الانسان اليومية. هذه الدراسة تعرض الانواع المعيارية للبث الفيديوي الرقمي مع التركيز على احدث هذه الانواع الا وهو البث الفيديوي الرقمي المخصص للاجهزة المحمولة باليد(DVB-H). هذا النوع هو النموذج المطور لطريقة البث الفيديوي الرقمي الارضي (DVB-T) لكي يتناسب مع الاجهزة النقالة المحمولة باليد. تم تصميم منظومة للمحاكات بالحاسبة لتمثيل الطبقة الفيزياوية للـ (DVB-H). وقد استخدمت المنظومة نظام عن التقسيم الترددي المتعدد والمتعامد (OFDM). التحري يعرض تاثيرات الـ(OFDM) من خلال تطبيق المنظومة المصممة عبر قناة متنقلة ومتعددة الاتجاهات. ان الاصناف الثلاثة للـ (DVB-H) اخذت بعين الاعتبار وهي (2k, 4k ,8k) بحسب استخدامها عدد الحاملات المعوضة لـ (OFDM) وهي (2048, 4092, 8184) بالتتابع. تم اظهار بعض خصائص هذه الاصناف بتجربتها ومحاكاتها بالحاسبة وحساب معدل خطا الكسرة الرقمية. تم اختيار الصنف (4k) لتطبيق ظروف الاستقبال المتنقل من خلال ارسال و استلام صورة معينة باستخدام نوعين من القنوات محاكتان بالحاسبة وتضمنت التجربة حساب ومقارنة نسبة الضوضاء العظمى للصورة المسترجعة (PSNR) لكل صورة مستلمة لنسبة الاشارة الى الضوضاء المرسلة(SNR) لها

Abstract

Recently, the use of mobile communications has become very popular but a huge problem of manmade and other kinds of interferences have been appeared and there are specific manners which many people used against this kind of communication although CDMA techniques has a good protection of these kinds of noise which don't mention it in this paper .Multiple Inputs Multiple outputs (MIMO) techniques has high capacity, increased diversity, and interference suppression. In this paper the model of receiver with MIMO techniques has introduced by using MATLAB 2014b to show the scan of the beam of antenna and measure the received power to get the best situation to make the call by suppression the signal from the direction which is many more the specific threshold.

Abstract

This paper presents a miniaturized dual-band bandpass filter using two coupled dual-mode resonators (DMRs). The dual-mode resonator is a short-circuited stub loaded square loop resonator. The concept of miniaturization achieved using multilayered technology. Therefore, the filter circuits are achieved in three layers. On the first layer, two coupled dual-mode resonators are designed and shorted to a ground layer to specify the required passbands. Next, a second layer employs two shorted quarter wavelength stubs coupled through one via hole are capacitively coupled to the first layer circuit to achieve the filtering response. For our demonstration, a multi-band bandpass filter is designed to serve a multifunctional wireless system has centre frequencies of 1.9 GHz GSM and 3.5 GHz WiMax systems. The filter is implemented and simulated using the momentum simulator of the Advanced Design System (ADS) software package. The filter response has two second-order passbands with four transmission zeros leads to a high skirt selectivity. The filter circuit area is very small, less than 37 mm2 terminating the feeding ports.
