Measurement calculations were carried out to determine the linear optical constants such as extinction coefficient, refractive index, average excitation energy and dispersion energy for the 3- amino-7-dimethylamino-2-methyl phenazine (Neutral red NR) doped Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) film. Further the optical nonlinearities of Neutral Red : Polyvinylpyrrolidone solution have been investigated by Z-scan technique with CW laser at 657.2 nm The nonlinear refractive index and absorption coefficient are found to be in the order of - 1.91 ×10-9cm2/Watt , 1.13×10-4 cm/Watt, respectively .These results show that the ample has potential application in nonlinear optics.

حساب ثوابت الخواص البصريه المتمثله بمعامل الخمود ومعامل الانكسار وطاقة التهيج لصبغة نيوترل الحمراء المشوبه لفلم بولي فنيل بيروليدون PVP . بالاضافه الى حساب الخواص البصريه اللاخطيه للصبغه و بولي فنيل بيروليدون المحلول والتي تمت بواسطة تقنية المسح البصري لليزر النبضه المستمر بطول موجي قدره 657.2 نانومتر .وقد وجد ان معامل الانكسار اللاخطي ومعامل الامتصاص اللاخطي يساوي - 1.91 x-9 10 سنتمتر مربع/ الواط و1.13 x-4 10 سنتمتر/واط على التوالي. هذه النتائج أظهرت ان لهذه العينه تطبيقات في مجال البصريات اللاخطيه.

The nonlinear optical properties of janus green in tetrahydrofuran solvent (THF) were studied using single beam Z-scan technique with a continuous-wave laser radiation at 635 nm of an output power of 40 mW. All the solution samples showed large nonlinear refractive indexes and absorption coefficient of the order of 10-7 cm2/W and 10-3 cm/W, respectively. The concentration-dependent nonlinear refractive index was also investigated. The solvent of spectroscopic grade and was used without further purification. دراسة الخواص البصريه اللاخطية لمحاليل صبغة الجينيس الزرقاء( صبغه الازو) المذابة في رباعي هيدرو الفوران والتي تمت بواسطة تقنية المسح البصري باتجاه محورZ بأستخدام ليزر ذي النبضه المستمر بطول موجي قدره 635 نانومتر .وقد وجد ان معامل الانكسار اللاخطي ومعامل الامتصاص اللاخطي بحدود 7- 10 سنتمتر مربع/ الواط و 3- 10 سنتمتر/واط على التوالي. أظهرت هذه النتائج ان لهذه العينه تطبيقات في مجال البصريات اللاخطيه.وجميع العينات حضرت ودرست مباشره.
